I am from Seville and resident in England. I enjoyed your video. There are a lot of places still to visit. Just to mention that each season, Seville is different and the city transforms itself when April’s fair comes or the Holy week comes. Thanks for your video.
Hi Juan I’m planning to visit this December. Wondering if you would recommend it. I’m assuming there will be plenty to do as it’s leading to Christmas 🎄
@@rhootujachauhan4049 Hey! I am visiting in December too, 18th to 29th and I have heard a lot about what Christmas has to offer in Spain :) and was talking to someone over Messenger, who has spent his Christmas earlier in Spain. He recommends visiting Spain during this time
Thank you very much for this valuable report with your nice English & voice and so many great proposals. This is one f the best reports about Sevilla I have seen at Youtoube. It’s inspiring.
Excellent presentation & it is obvious you did your research. Easy listening & easy to understand & just what we were looking for. If you have any links on where to get popup maps for Malaga/Seville/Cordoba this would be much appreciated. We took plenty of notes 👏🤝👍
Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked the video (and appreciated all the research!). I don't have any pop up map links I'm afraid (if you mean what I think you do by pop up map). We did include a googlemap of places mentioned in the seville travel guide linked in the video description but I haven't done one for Cordoba/Malaga yet. Hope you have a great trip!
I'm currently planning a trip to Seville and came across your video. I don't need to watch anything else or search for more info, this is just perfect for me. Very very useful info, tips, love the map with the walking distances and tapas places recommendations. Beautiful shots of the city as well and an enjoyable narration ,nice voice - thank you guys!
Hi, thank you so much for your video. Very informative. We will visit soon. Your list is very helpful. Looking forward for Cordoba video. We will be even visiting Granada and Ronda. Have you visited? Hope so 😊, that way you can share your experience with us. 👍
We have not but would very much like to! There are a few places in Southern Spain we would like to visit so I think a return trip is in order 🙂 When is your trip? Thanks for watching, I'm glad you found the video helpful!
Where can I find that the tickets to see Alcazar include entry to setas also? I'm trying to confirm because I had originally planned to see Setas first, but if it's included in Alcazar I'll buy Alcazar tickets first! :) Thank you!! Leaving this Sunday
It's the ruins underneath Las Setas that are included with the Alcazar ticket. To go up on Las Setas walkway is a separate ticket / attraction. We bought our Alcazar ticket directly from their site rather than a third party. Hope this helps, and have a great trip! 😀
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! March is typically cited as a good time to visit, yes 🙂 I guess things to bear in mind are it's a transitional month from winter to spring, so weather could be a little unpredictable (although for me being from the UK it still looks pretty great to me, haha), and also depending on what year you visit check when semana santa falls. I would happily visit Seville at any time of year though!
Amazing Video on Seville. Loved your detail - how long to stay at the sites, the ticket tips of additional sites included in the price of one ticket, and so much more. Truly impressive travel video and I've watched plenty to compare! Thanks so much. I look forward to seeing the rest of your videos!
I'm editing it at the moment so not sure if it will be ready before your trip...possibly...it'll be a close one! I hope you have a great trip to Seville 😊
Do you have a day trip or a 2 or 3-day trip to Seville from Malaga? If you have, I'd like to join it. I'm flying in and staying in Malaga. I'm going to join the day trip to Ronda (or if you have a 2 or 3-day trip to Ronda), and Malaga 3 days trip. Please let me know and I'm coming at the end of May.
Hi, I'm not sure if I misunderstood your comment but our Seville trip wasn't part of a guided tour. We actually visited Seville on a separate trip to Malaga. I know there are guided tours available from Malaga to Seville though, at least for a day trip. You could also travel by bus or train 🙂
I suppose it depends on what temperature you consider pleasant, but maybe you would like March/April which is usually low 20s, although make sure you know what dates Semana Santa (holy week) falls that year before you book. Of course weather is unpredictable... we went in May which should have been mid-high 20s (which to us is perfect) but there was a heatwave and it was mid 40s! 🥵
Sorry, we don't have hotel recommendations for Seville at the moment. We stayed in an apartment in Triana, but I think staying a little more central is probably better for short visits
Seville is one of the hottest places in Spain. In July average highs are around 36c / 97f, so you will know yourself how good you are at dealing with high temperatures. I think for some people that would simply be too hot to enjoy themselves on a city break. Personally I would try and go outside of summer, but if I could only go in July then I wouldn't let that stop me. I am generally ok with heat though. We visited in May, which should have been more comfortable but there was a heatwave and temperatures were over 40c every day. We still managed to do everything we wanted to and had a great time, but were careful to stay hydrated, choose shade over sun when we could, especially in the afternoons etc. If you do decide to go in July I would say plan to do things at a slower pace, try to avoid being in the sun in the late afternoon, stay central to minimise walking and drink lots and lots of water! 🙂
Thanks for the info. This particular tapas bar describe their pringa as pork, chorizo and blood sausage on their menu, so I guess it must be their own take on pringa then. Either way, it's delicious! 🙂
Just watched this and your 20 Seville tips video. They were both incredibly informative, interesting and beautifully filmed/narrated. I’ve been to Seville three times but still learned a huge amount and found the itinerary and tips SO useful. I’m going back to Seville a couple of times this year and will definitely visit some of the sites you recommended. Thank you for two such super videos! Next up, your Cordoba video!
That's so nice to hear, thank you! Comments like this make my day 😊 Hope you enjoyed the Cordoba video and you have a fantastic time on your return trips to Seville!
This is an amazing guide, great job! I would love to visit Seville one day, we love Spain so much and can't get enough of Sangria and Tapas! Flamenco is my favorite type of dance to watch!
Yeah the flamenco was amazing, loved it! After eating tapas for a few days straight eating just one type of dish for your meal feels a bit boring, haha 😀 thanks for watching!
It really is so beautiful! We were glad we visited when all the purple jacaranda trees were in bloom too... was hadn't heard of them before and all the purple flowers everywhere made the city even prettier 😍
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
beautiful presentation. Easy to follow and understand language. Wished you would have spoken more about the Andalucia historical spots and real fact behind the Islamic art. May I know what month your trip was because I have noticed great flower tree blooming.
We visited in May. Those flowers were a lovely unexpected surprise! I think they are Jacaranda trees and bloom for a few weeks. They are really beautiful!
Your video was so helpful! I love the way you speak, the way you explain everything ,and the little bit of history you provide. thanks to you planning for seville was a breeze.
Hey guys I love how walkable this whole area is 😊 The gardens were so gorgeous 🥰 I see you made a 🦚 friend 😆 The chickpea and spinach dish looked soo good 🙌 As always you did a great job sharing a variety of things to do in this episode and will be so helpful if we ever find ourselves in Seville. We would love to experience an authentic Flamenco show!
We think the peacock thought our bottle of suncream was food, he wouldn't leave us alone 😂 The flamenco show was amazing! Definitely worth seeing one if you do visit Seville. Thanks for watching guys! 🙂
Thanks for this video! We’re planning a trip to Seville soon and wondered whether you had any recommendations on where to stay or area for a good base. Thanks
I'm going to include areas to stay in a future Seville video but in case you are visiting sooner... we stayed in Triana, which is a nice local neighbourhood (we showed in this video). However we were based in Seville for longer than 3 days and did a couple of day trips. For shorter visits personally I would prefer a more convenient location like el arenal or santa cruz. You can still walk from Triana to the main sights but it further out. I think wherever you stay then if you dont like noise then check accommodation reviews because some areas were loud and busy til late (great atmosphere though!). Have a great trip!
@@LarchmontLady - Well I would suggest that you close your eyes to all the private casitas where people get together to celebrate during before and after all the parades that are held day and night. A party does not mean a drunken debauchery!
Very nice....we've just returned from a 4 day visit to Sevilla and visited almost all of the places mentioned. You forgot one absolute must: the Sevilla Aquarium...a little down the river from the Torre de Oro. Very nice ..one of my personal highlights 👍
Excellent study as ALL tour guides should be. Well done!! I'm going to Seville for the 2nd time this summer and you have provided a terrific summary of things I completely missed 1st time 'round.
After the pandemic, reservations are now required for a number of museums. I suggest you check the web page of each location before arriving in Sevilla. Each location will have its own hours of operation. The archeological museum is closed until 2026.
Your video was perfect for our visit. We followed most of what you suggested and enjoyed our 5 days. One extra nugget. If anyone would like a good sky bar suggestion, try the Abba Hotel. Thank you for posting your video
That's great to hear, I'm glad you found it helpful and enjoyed your trip 🙂 Ooo thanks for sharing your sky bar recommendation, I just googled and it has a great looking view over the cathedral!
Your tip on getting tickets ahead for the Alcazar was useful as we were just going to rock up on the day. As well as getting to the Setas for sunset, I wouldn’t have known until your video 😊😊😊
Hi, I'm planning to visit Sevilla this year. I would like to know how much time are needed for Plaza España and Parque de Maria Luisa? Thanking you in advance.
amazing video! where did you book the tickets for the alcazar online? im having so many issues with their site! did you add the royal rooms online, or at the door? thanks so much :)
We bought ours directly from their site. We didn't have any issues but it isn't the most user friendly I guess! 😅 We didn't visit the upper royal rooms as they were sold out for our visit. If it helps we did ask them a question using the form on their site and they got back to me really quickly so if you keep having issues perhaps it's something they can help with. Hope you get it sorted!
I haven't been in December so can't speak from experience. Based on research it's not the best time to go, but I would happily go to Seville any time of year. Weatherwise it should still hopefully be mild compared to a lot of other parts of europe, plus christmas lights and markets are always fun! 🙂 Have a great time!
We went in May, it was a great time to go! I talk about best times to go in our other Seville video in a bit more detail but in short, March-May (but be aware of festival dates) or September-October. Thanks for watching! 🙂
What a great video. You have a lovely, clear voice and your maps are so helpful. Since you went in May did you find a lot of people wearing shorts or is this discouraged? It does get hot there.
Thank you Kimberly, I'm glad you liked the video! Yep it gets hooot 🥵 During our visit there was a heat wave and it was around 45c some days. There were plenty of people wearing shorts. The exception was Seville Cathedral as they do ask that you cover up in there. Hope this helps!
An often overlooked thing on the Plaza de España is the seville military museum they dont do a very good job with signs or anything and the door is small and half hidden away which make it very easy to miss
@@OurTravelPlace Seems like i am not allowed to link to their website but they do have one so feel free to google it, i had plans to vist in 2020 but had to drop the trip due to COVID
@@OurTravelPlace To find the entrance you need to go up the stairs from the ground level and then head to the north west part of the plaza up there they have a sign besides the entrance and its free to enter, like i said easy to miss if you dont know its there
Hi, I am planning to travel to Spain towards the end of December from 21st to 31st. I am planning to visit Madrid, Seville, Valencia and Barcelona (may change this later). Wanted to know how is Spain like towards end of December? Will shop/restaurants and places to visit be closed for the holidays or can I actually have a good time there. I will be in Seville on 23rd and 24th of December
Typically, the only reason why some businesses close during a season in Spain (and some other hot parts of europe) is during the height of the summer when the heat is too much. During that time, a lot of people go and stay in their holiday homes in slightly cooler climates. You'll be fine in December. I stayed in Barcelona from December to January, and everything was opened. There was also Xmas markets, NYE fireworks, and all that seasonal stuff. As with everywhere else, I doubt that many places would be opened on Xmas day though
@@ignacioheredia9599 po si 😊 o que no venga, no necesitamos a gente como el aqui. Hay muchos turistas que son muy amables y por supuesto que son bienvenidos.
You have added photos of Barcelona ;la cathedral secla safrada familia)and Madrid(Ciebeles) which are not Sevilla. Do your homework first before posting please
