Wonderful tutorial.. You Explain everything well and dont miss any steps but its also not drawn out any more than it needs to be. I just came from a 30 min long video that i skipped after 3 mins bc everything was so drawn out i couldnt imagine sitting through the whole thing and paying attention lol. but i watched this whole vid no problem.thank you !!

This is the fourth wallet I've made from your design studio. I love them all! I made this one with the lining fabric I used for the jeans crossbody bag. Made them both in one day. I like that it's slim, yet holds what I need it to hold and fits in the jeans bag very nicely (horizontally, even). Thank you for your clear directions, your exquisite and very useable designs, and for making them free. Sometimes I just watch these videos with no intention of making the project. I just like the process and the way you explain it. lol
Another GREAT tutorial. You have simplified my life with the tutorials that you make. You have taken the apprehension away from making purses and wallets. Thank you for this tutorial.
First off, I want to say I absolutely love this pattern. One thing that I did discover, which I wish I had known before sewing the flap together or on the front, if you are using magnetic snaps for your closure, you need to install the male part to the flap before you sew it together. So please be aware of this if you are following the video since it does not mention this.
@@kalmyluv You install the male snap at step 24 before you sew the flap together. You will then install the female end at step 27 as per the instructions.
You have the best tutorials. You give measurements, seam allowances and you explain everything well. I made my first wallet today and I would do it again, but next time I won't use denim for the main fabric - it made it too bulky. Thank you sooooo much. Can't wait to try another one of your patterns/tutorials.
I made this wallet today! It was a very fun sew and looks great! I absolutely adore that it holds my phone snug. I’m going to make my mum this wallet for Mother’s Day and another for my BFF and family. Thank you so much Yoan❤ Now I don’t have to carry my bulky purse around when holding my hefty Grandson!

Your instructions were pretty easy to follow and I love the finished product! One suggestion I would give is to put all the fabrics piece measurements at the beginning so the viewer can be sure to have all the pieces cut and ready to go at each step.. I had to keep getting up to cut more pieces as the video went along. I also wish to wristlet tutorial had just been included here. I didn’t find the link.

4/3/22: Hi Yoan. Well, I made this wallet on yesterday and it came out fantastic! It was a lot of work to me, and I guess it's because it was my first one and I took my time with it. It was so worth it, though, and I LOVE it! Would I make another one? Heck yes!! I also went to the thrift store and bought a pair of denim dungarees that were in excellent condition at an extremely reasonable price. I hate to cut them up they look so good, but.... I'm going to look for another project from you, of course, to guide me in the direction of a tote bag of some sort; you have so many. Nevertheless, thank you so much for the inspiration, the tutorial and you taking the time to share it with your followers. I appreciate it.

Hi! Enjoyed your video and I've now made two of them. My first one was made with Star Wars fabric and then one of my aunt after she saw mine. I did end up making a modification to my 2nd wallet by adding a second zipper hidden pocket behind the coin zipper pocket. I was then able to birth the wallet this way and then just sew close the pocket lining. For the hidden zipper pocket, I just did the height of the zipper to only 1/4" instead of 3/8" or 1/2".
I just found yoir channel! I love it so much. You are very soft spoken. I only ask if you can add a little more light.. but THANK you for no crazy music. I love the Tea time. I always drink tea while I sew!! I can't wait to make these as gifts!!
