SEW ALONG FOR MY MIMIG X SIMPLICITY  

I really miss the "sewing parts" of these new sew alongs. :( I'm a visual learner so it really helps me pick up on the slightest details that you just can't get from explaining. I tend to fuzz out over lecture type tutorials. Please don't take this as a criticism. That is just the way I learn. I got back into sewing because of your mask tutorial when the pandemic hit. Since then I have been watching as many of your sew alongs as I can find. The earlier ones had more sewing in them which I love. I know it might be more time consuming but if you're going to sew it anyway, why not show it? Just my thoughts. Thank you for inspiring me to get back into sewing. Love you Mimi

Hey Ms Mimi - I loved the sew-along but was jonesing for a little bit of the actual sewing part. I don’t need you to show every bit of sewing but maybe the part sewing over the gathers or serging the pockets and sides. Also, I was hoping to visit your fabric shop when I came down for the Sewing Expo but unfortunately, other obligations prevent it this upcoming weekend but I will get down there. Keep doing what you do.

Hi Mimi, Any suggestions for how to get the back of the top to not droop down so low? Currently where it is sitting I can’t wear a bra. Adjusting the elastic tighter just pulls the front apart. 🤔

Thank God I've been waiting for you to sew this pattern. I'm a beginner trying to follow the pattern directions but I find myself making so many mistakes. Hopefully now I'll be able to so the jumpsuit correctly. I'll let you know how it turns out thanks again.

Mimi, how do you measure for the elastic casing for the leg hem, didn’t know how much shorter to make the elastic than your ankle measurements. Thank you, really enjoyed your video love the jump suit.
