I wandered onto your site from a 5 yr old video your Mom did on a Katherine Babylock. One of the necessary features she suggested was an auto needle threader that eased the hassle of threading a machine that often discourages new sewers and us older enthusiasts as our eyesight becomes compromised with age and glasses. She was so wonderful in those videos that I searched out the old video to see if she added more content. Voila! I am a grandmother now with several physical limitations that go hand in hand with growing older and wiser (arthritis and glasses). I dreamed of sewing regularly post retirement…so…here I am. Thank you thank you thank you for continuing with upgrades in technology and instruction. The pandemic forced us to consider dusting off our machines. Yes, I am guilty of that. I did not realize the value of a serger and will now plan to acquire one from my local shop that will support its service. I agree that online shopping is not the way to go when learning a craft. You do need the human on hand guidance at times when you run into that occasional glitch in your planned performance. Good luck with continued sewing skills and marketing through your beautiful store. I wish (here in NY) there were a greater variety of small business stores for that personal touch and advice. Thank goodness for RU-vid and now sewing subscriptions online for those of us who can’t get out as much as we would like. Cute puppy. Small dogs are wonderful mannequins for simple sewing projects.
