For this project the cuts are
4 1/2 x 8 1/2
4 1/2 x 4 1/4
Rows are attached by 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 sashing
Since I didn't have enough fabric, I am using 1" sashing to connect the rows together

Could be polished cotton. I’ve noticed you don’t use the machine’s threader. You don’t like using it? Just wondering. I use my machine threader regularly since I can’t ever see the hole in the needle anymore!
