I have been all day to finish this video. I really like this block. As far as giveaways go, I am easy to please. I watch your content because of your personality not to win anything 🥰I hope you had a good day at work.
I won one of your gift packages and I enjoyed the fabric, but the rotary cutter and scissors were nice additions. Perhaps you could consider something like the seam tape, marking pen, Purple Thang, nail file, seam marker for HST’s, stiletto, heat erase pen, snips, non slip grips for rulers, bag of candy. You don’t have to spend a ton of money to make someone happy. You are so thoughtful to even have these gift bags. Thanks for taking your time to make the videos.
Your quilt is going to be really cute when all done, I found a bag of 5 1/2" squares the other day while digging around I think it might work for this pattern. Can't wait until you start to put it together. Happy Quilting!
I'm sewing on my BOM kits. I love your blocks. Don't worry about the wonky blocks, perfection is boring. Even though I try for perfection, I don't worry about it anymore 😂. Take care and God bless.
When i did a project with the snowball corners i alternated pressing half to the main fabric and half to the snowball square so the seams nest and reduces all the bulk. 💚💚
I think any giveaways you do are great and very generous! I myself like all sorts of things, and my feeling is if it is something you dont like , you can always regift that item! I have enjoyed watching your channel! Thank you very much for all you do!
I would be happy with anything for a giveaway. That would be so generous of you. You were talking about your ironing board and I have my mother's ironing board and it is very old and very heavy. I always had it folded up and propped against one of my walls in my sewing room and when it came time to press my large yardage for my quilt I just hated getting that thing out. I had my son-in-law cut me a nice large piece of plywood and I put quilt batting on it and then I put a piece of material over that and stapled it to the back. I just lay it on top of my large cutting mat an iron away and then when I'm done I just pick it up and lay it against the wall and it's out of the way.
I say an even mix of fabric and notions and maybe some hard candy like Jolly ranchers or something like that too. Patterns are a must 😊. By the way awesome quilt.
We aren’t able to celebrate like we used to on the 4th of July. We rescued a dog that is terrified of a storms, fireworks and any loud sounds! We thought she’d get better over the years but it is getting worse. We had to heavily medicate her and it didn’t help much. I’m just not sure what to do anymore. It’s not good for her to be that stressed out. She gouged my husband’s leg yesterday and hurt her paws! All of the give away you have done have always been very generous! Personally, I would like a fabric heavy give away with some favorite sewing notions thrown in! Anything that you choose, I’m sure, will be fabulous! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! If anyone has suggestions to help our poor puppy, I’d really appreciate it!🥰🤗
I have a 13 year old adorable mix that we rescued, 12 years ago. He is also terrified of loud noise, especially thunderstorms and fireworks. When needed I give him Trazodone. It helps calm him down. 😊
Combine a little of both your channels. A short gift making segment, hot pads, tbl runners, soap making, candle making, etc. would be fun & make great giveaways. I've got "stuff" I need to use up, so not buying a lot. I need ideas for panels, kids quilts, etc. I like to hear how someone took diff fabrics based on colors, design, etc. that's not from the same fab line. I do like seeing current fabs, & watching local quilt shows are fun. I enjoy your shows & you've done a lot of this already! A tour of Keepsake Quilting would be interesting.
I’m sewing up some charm packs! I have way too many so 6x7 a couple of borders and a good lap size for gifts or donations! I wouldn’t care what you sent for a giveaway it’s generous of you to do that and anything is appreciated!!
Love the pattern..I’m glad to know you don’t always get the seams perfect ..makes me feel better about mine….lol I’m making memory bears for a friend of mine whose husband passed away last summer
I am doing well, I'm cleaning out the embroider machine room today. It has become a dumping site since I have been working on my big boat upholstery project.
Missed cuts happen to everyone, just slip some scrap fabric into the quilt that blends . I most likely have every notion ever invented so I would prefer fabric , patterns and surprises. I am working on my latest jelly roll quilt which has a lot of snowball corners so when things don’t match I don’t care. I match at center and the outside those diagonal seams can do whatever.
I sew'd 12 disappearing 4 blocks, 18 inch finished yesterday and and got into my stash to try and organize...lol....I need yo find a thrift table for cutting fabric
Hi! New subscriber here! I'm doing the Siverstone with Cathy too! I wish I was a chain sewer, but not comfortable with that quite yet. Cutting is hard, practice... Have a great day!
How do you sew with your machine to the side? I have so much shoulder pain when I don’t sit centered with the needle. My 1/4” foot doesn’t sew an accurate quarter inch. It is so frustrating. Hope you have a good night.
I've kinda gotten used to it. I have the seam tape and a new quarter inch foot that's accurate.. the clear foot I'm using I know if I'm centered on the right side I'm good.
