That was beautiful my little champion❤ When my boys were little, I used to collect little shells or stones at the beach with them. We collected 30 and started a countdown with them the month before their birthday, taking one out every day preceding their special day. That way they could see how many "sleeps" were left until the day Jesus sent them to us. Every year, they'd wake up to balloons (equal in # to their age) and a loud happy birthday song😂. My sons are all grown up now, 23 and 18, but they still insist on their balloons (no countdown or song tho, I think it's more just to keep me happy😂😂😂). These are priceless memories and traditions for them to carry into their own homes one day.

I just love your content which is a kind of a therapy for me. I love how you plan your makes and choose fabric carefully. It is my dream to make a cute minimalist wardrobe for me and my daughter. I usually try to make matching dresses for me and my girl for her birthday! But this year I could only make Ola dress for her and she got a lot of compliments from our guests. Everyone said that she looked like a little doll in that dress. I loved watching this and the heart pockets are my new fave! ❤ family traditions I’ve started with my little one is making her a birthday gilet and she has to have Pancakes for breakfast. I’ve extended this to my class in a small way and make a HUGE deal about their birthday breakfast and ask them to tell with the class what they had. If they had cake- we cheer, if they have toast… we cheer! We celebrate a birthday breakfast whatever it is 😂

One of the traditions that we have is before my kids wake up have a little cake for them with some cute decorations ❤️

This dress is just adorable! Your daughter is very fortunate and will appreciate it one day as she looks back on all the beautiful things you made for her! My mom made so many dresses for each grandchild and crocheted or embroidered something for each of her kids and we have so many special heirlooms! Did you know that linen has an electrical field of 5000 that actually helps your body to heal, so does wool. The bible says not to combine them and a Jewish doctor discovered this and said that they cancel each other out! Interesting fact!

That was fascinating to watch the smocking take shape. I have not seen that before. In high school we had to make a little smocked baby garment using gingham and the checks of the fabric to guide you sewing the smocking threads in manually. I love the dress you created and I'm sure your daughter will love wearing it. And her dolly too. Your videos are just beautiful - only just discovered today so I have a whole lot of catching up to do!
