Today I’m sharing my favorite SEWING ESSENTIALS FOR TOTAL BEGINNERS. This is lesson 2 in the LEARN TO SEW SERIES. If you have never sewn before and want to know the best tools you can use to get use to get you started, you’ve come to the right place.
This video is a little long, but my hope is by discussing the WHY's of the sewing essentials I use, I can help you to save some money by buying items that I know will work and provide you with years of great sewing results. I only wished that when I started my sewing journey that I would have researched more. So my hope is this video will be helpful for you as you begin a life long love of sewing.
Remember, buy the best things you can for what you can afford. This is so important. If you have to save for a bit to buy the nicer quality item, it will actually save you money in the long run and you'll be happier with your purchase.

** I can't tell you how well the $100 machine works. I am listing this based on other reviews that I have read but I have never personally used this machine. I would recommend looking for a used singer heavy duty machine before I'd purchase a machine that costs less then $100. I have never in the past had good luck with really inexpensive machines but this is MY personal experience and you need to do what works best for you and your budget **
