I now have a really high table I use basically because I can't get off the floor if I were down there anymore! LOL. I'm so glad you are making the pintucks on the pants! Once you try them you will elevate your sewing so much! The same with the invisible zipper! I have enjoyed watching your videos! Now back to sewing for me! 🥰

For your pintucks, clip the top and bottom of the each line, then go to the iron and fold/press the first line from top to bottom. Measure the width between each line and use it as your “seam allowance”; then stitch first line/pintuck. Go back to the iron and do the same for the next line; stitch that line/pintuck. Continue until you finish all lines. No need to transfer the marks/lines all the way down the pattern/fabric.

Love your energy and you have a baby. You need something hard under your fabric to get good marks. Dollar tree cutting mats work. Tape them together and fold to put away. Dry iron your pattern pieces or the garment could be off in measurements.

You may find that the longest portion of even an Amazon or delivery package placed on a table underneath the fabric and tracing paper will give you a better marking outcome. Well done for getting going a lot of people dislike cutting out.
