I love how level headed Miranda is, she is usually always right about everything because she looks at everything with her head and not her heart. she was right about carrie going to france, she was right about Carrie getting back to big.. she was right pretty much all the time lol
*Steve proposing* "What are you fucking crazy?" . "I didn't tell walker I had a baby" "If walker asked me directly if I had a baby recently well I ask define recently"
@@rainesonne1320of course that is nothing wrong with being a lesbian or bissexual, no one is saying that. Is just that is not Miranda's character who we saw for years. That subject was even touched in early episodes and one of the most important traits of Miranda that was very inclusive and modern was that she could be a little bit masculine without being a lesbian or bi. When they turned her into bi or gay, it defeats that great mark of inclusivity and diversity. So she was gay or bi all along. That's what everybody thought when she wore short hair and couldn't care less for certain things. It was a new type of heterosexual woman, but they had to butcher that. It was an important mark on tv, for me and a lot of girls who are hetero but don't do typical feminity.
Without Miranda's sarcasm and cynicism the show wouldn't have been the same, they were as essential as Carrie's self-reflective moments and Samantha's sexual adventures. One of my favorite characters yet very underrated.
OK, I think we can all agree that each of these four woman are smart and sexy and hilarious in their own special way so four highly interesting characters managed to equally entertain us for decades... But Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) simply IS the master of sarcasm, and that in such a natural way?! Thumbs up for that remarkable woman!!
Carrie: You're really pregnant? Miranda: No, I just thought that would be a fun thing to say. XDDDDD ----------- I did not recall that specific scene, it threw me off guard and I could not stop laughing. Miranda was without a doubt my favorite. All of them were funny in their own ways but Miranda always brought something extra to every scene, especially to the more dramatic emotional ones involving her friendship with Carrie and her relationship with Steve. Go team Miranda!
When I watched the show many years ago. Miranda and Samantha are my favourite characters. They are so so well written and full of charm, fun and out spoken say what they mean, mean what they say ❤
Observation Insight lol I know. it started when I read this article in which this woman was talking about faking orgasms which I don't agree is something people should do and they linked a clip in the article. I watched a few more and came across the one where samantha is complaining about her man's junk and I thought "man that's ruthlessness disguised as comedy. maybe this show will teach me something about what a sizable portion of women are thinking." So I checked it out and got hooked up in the story.
Best character. Two of my favourite moments are missing from here, though - her constant sniping during the tantric sex workshop, and this exchange: Samantha: I'm dating a guy who has the funkiest-tasting spunk. Charlotte: *looks upset, gets up from the table and leaves* Miranda: ... and she's never coming back.
yeah! another favorite of mine is when they realize Samantha likes Richard and Miranda says "Oh my god we're going to have to ice skate home. Hell just froze over."
Carrie: should I have going out of business sex Miranda: no Carrie: you didn’t even think- Miranda: no Carrie: but we like and respect each other Miranda: mmm...no
Best one was when Carrie was asking her what if she could just get away with not telling Aidan about her affair with Big and Miranda replied:, “I don’t watch Lifetime television for women.”
I laughed soooo hard..!!!!xD Miranda has always been my favourite in the show..her lines might be a bit sarcastic but at the same time they are hilarious by giving the realistic perpective..that's why the MIiranda's moments are so precious:)
My mums fav character is Miranda & I adore her , I loved how she was so independent, the episode were she buys Steve a expensive suit & he gets insecure because it’s a woman was way ahead …
I'd just like to thank a lot of the people who've commented on this. If I had a problem with my short term memory you'd all come in so handy right now.
Miranda was destroyed in And Just Like That. Samantha is missing and Charlotte needs to be on Botched. Carrie is the same self-centered annoying child she always was.
1:56 We respect each other! Lol the man was about to leave new york without a word. Before this, he plays with her, leave her to Paris for finally marry a younger and more beautiful woman ! Come on Carrie ! Wake up😂 i know it's a fiction but some women think like her. My god! Miranda is right, i would like a friend like her❤
aww I was hoping the scene where they were getting their dresses at Vera Wang for Charlotte’s wedding was included 😭 Charlotte said it was “her week” because she was getting married and Miranda said You get a day...not a week 😂
