I was not supportive of the Gender Recognition Act. Those that allowed it show why we are in the situation we are in today. We need to protect children and women. I don't go down the pronoun bandwagon either. Truth of biological sex matters and so does safeguarding children from gender ideology!!

I recall watching an interview a few years ago, where a trans woman had been through all of the surgeries required to look like a woman, and was very happy with the result. This biological male admitted to having, at that stage, had sexual relations with around 1,000 men, sometimes three in a day, without telling any of them. To his credit, when asked, he admitted that this could easily cause those men serious mental health problems. Being allowed to change your birth certificate, etc., means that a trans woman is in a perfect position to potentially trick a man into a relationship, without them knowing, and therefore risk the mans mental health, to the point where that man may take his own life. Because of this alone, nobody should be allowed a certificate to say they are a different biological sex to that of their birth.

It all comes down to whether or not the words man and woman refer to sex or gender.

Maya lied. The GRC act came in 2004 several years before the equality act and was both known about and understood when the equality act was written. What Maya dislikes is that trans people have protections under the equality act and her as an anti-trans extremist is wanting to remove those rights.

When i was at school there was a crazy for scented gel pens, maybe they can make a come back and replace gender ideology, I'm joking but it would be nice, let children be innocent again.

We just need to make sure that Private Clinics are prevented from providing these treatments, but I think there is too much money to be made sadly. And yes only women can go through the menopause - I'm a qualified menopause practitioner but have cancelled my associated membership with the British Menopause Society because they lie and are complicit in agreeing with an ideology!

Would loved to have heard more from Maya, and less from Julia.

Legal changes of sex on documents should be TF for a trans female/woman and TM for trans male/ man. That would allow for clarity in those who wish to identify as another sex, but also make it clear that they started their life as something else. Governments should never have ever been able to allow for literal changes of sex designation on legal documents in the way that they have done.
