There are many.. a few of which are viewed as sacred in Tibetan culture and once only taught in ancient mystery schools. I don’t think that chapter was meant to be taken literally. I am pretty sure that “sexual energy” was a metaphor for “desire” (for money, power) like you said. If actual ejaculation had a negative effect on productivity/motivation, I think it would have been studied and documented in a scientific journal by now.
