Local Palm Islanders speak from the heart against sexual violence. It’s got to stop.
Sexual violence is the use of force or pressure to obtain, or to try to obtain, a sexual act. Any sexual act someone forces on you, tries to force on you or intimidates you into consenting to is wrong and a crime. Only your consent makes a sexual act OK.
This video was produced for PICC as as an initiative between PICC and the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women as part of the Department’s Sexual Violence Prevention Month grants program for 2020.
