I am not a hairstylist . I am caring for my mom who has dementia & refuses to enter a hair salon , she allows me to cut & style her hair , I followed this tutorial because this looks most like a style she’s had at different periods in her life going back to the 80’s . Your instruction was super easy to follow , almost fool proof . Cut & style looks amazing , thank you so much !!
Gorgeous model, good pace and well articulated. One thing that could make it even better is adding videos and links to doing the styles featured at the end. They were stunning!
Absolutely gorgeous cut that you can tell will be easy to manage because it was cut with precision and brilliant talent that is very rare today!! It is truly an art and I could watch it forever! I did have someone who cut my hair like that for almost 30 years, never dreamed he wouldn’t be around to continue but sadly he had to retire due to a serious illness. Can’t even begin to find this kind of talent anymore!
Your so clear and precise in your demonstration and explanation. I started cutting my own hair in lockdown and now feel uncomfortable going to a hair dresser because I think I don’t feel in control, plus my hair grows like weeds do gets expensive. I think cutting/styling hair is an art. Your so relaxing to watch and I love that you show different ways to wear a style. Thank you for sharing this ❤👏🏻💇🏻♀️🇬🇧
@@kallievartt8070morning 👋 I used elements of it but left it longer at the sides so I can have over my ear or scrape behind. I had grown mine into a short bob but I wanted more hight on top. Using this method gave me the confidence to tackle it. With having wavy/curly hair I can either dry straight or use a defuser with curl enhancing product. I have feathered the sides and shaped the back from the occipital bone down into my neck taking bulk out (I have thick hair) then with the scissors slightly open run down vertically across the back to thin out the ends. I scrunched mine to meet up with my friend and when she saw me she said wow I love your hair. She thought I had been to the hairdresser and hadn’t told her to surprise her. Says it all 😉
This video is so helpful. I had gotten a semi-pixiecut length a few months ago and used this video to trim my hair up once a month when my hair kept growing and getting messy. Doing backside was quite tricky but it wasn't impossible to do it by myself. Also had saved money ~! (The scissor is important though... I once used a random one in my house and nearly made my fingers feel nothing..)
Amei o corte.
Can u belive it? Today a cut my hair for the third time! All by miself!!! Looking at your video. Quarantine haircut, but it worked! I cut it a little bit shorter because I have very thin and dark ash blond hair, but it looks wonderful. I finish it with a little bit of wax, make it a little bit rebel, customized for me, and it looks amazing! Thank you so much! You are a great teacher! (Bravo to me too. I can say I have like 2 right hands 😉)
🌺😀congrats! your a Professional hairstylist.! people watching learned effectively🌺very clear your demonstration in teaching.! keep up the good work & more power.! God Bless you more.! 😀🌺
Very clear instructions. As we're currently in lockdown for the Covid19 virus my wife's haircut (a similar style) was long overdue and looking very rough. With the help of this video I ( who has never cut anyone's hair before other than my own Kojak style) was able to give her a pretty decent trim... actually it's looking really good!. She's delighted and so am I. Thank you!
Love it and the way you have created 3 different looks. People say short hair is boring but there is so much that can be done to ring the changes. I had an attempt to grow my hair in this thumbnail but after having short hair for so long I couldn't even get used to this length so had it cut again. xx
love how you take your time as you EMBRACE each cut and the skills of details,,,as you HARMONIZE every cut to BLEND so RIDICULOUSLY to show the gorgeous style,,,you are truly a Leonardo da VINCI and a precious GIFT for the UNIVERSE,,, BEWILDERING for my eyes to relish☆☆☆
Thank you for the very well explained and demonstrated video. I love that the process is straight forward and your not going back in to a basic cut to add the lift and dimension.
You should see how they hand pick there model for there show cuts.... then they never see them again......its all for just one cut......the show of it...
I find it hard to understand how to measure the lenght from which you start cutting. Especially next to the ears. How do you know how far in to go with the scissors? I understand sectioning but that only help with the quantity of hair you cut not with the lenght.
Thank you so much for this very helpful video .you inspired me to do more videos and I learned a lot from you thank you so much keep it up and and inspired other love lots
Only problem is I have no idea how to style it to make it into these different styles. Like do I just use a comb and hair dryer? Do I just comb it back? Do I need a curling iron? Do I use a gel/paste, etc. on it??
