Seydel 1847 Out Of The Box Overblow Sample & Adjustment 

It's not that I discourage very minor adjustments, its that I work for the best harmonica players in the world and I do this day in day out. My experience is that most players believe they need a better setup when in fact they need to develop better technique. Very very few players will notice benefit from extreme setup measures. It is my personal experience - working directly for a harmonica company - that most players need more practice not more practice setting up.

@@AllThingsSeydel but you do discourage just about any adjustments. You literally tell folks in the videos not to try at home, and to let you do it for them for a fee. My point was, the work being done is not that difficult, and as someone who wants to see everyone enjoy harp, it would make sense to show folks it’s not difficult to setup a harp for playability and improved responsiveness. With the exception of slot embossing, the rest of it is very elementary and no more difficult than adjusting the action on a guitar. Will most benefit from improved technique, of course, but to use that as the reason why folks shouldn’t learn themselves makes no sense.
