I thought you looked absolutely stunning in the red lives blouse!!!! There’s so many that I’d love to wear! The lives the Gabrielle and the ivy are my favorites!
I love that you're playing around with color. I love color, it's so much fun. The black blouse with the beige trim is so lovely and beautiful. I love how it exposes the wrists. And oh the black lace top is gorgeous. My favorite I'd have to say is the sequin dress. It's so beautiful and fun! Also love that you chose a bright pink sweater. Looks super comfy.
Color yeahh😃!!!.. so happy with your picks. It will be so nice that quickly you can show like the same shirt with jeans, dress pants and skirt just to have all 3 quick looks. Every thing looks amazing on you🥰
The green blouse is a great choice! I was thinking how good it looked with your colouring and then you mentioned your hair so we're on the same page. I love all shades of green (especially for clothing) but there's something about dark greens that feels so elegant. I like jewel tones with my complexion in general and don't wear neutral colours like brown or beige, more black or grey but nonetheless I love to watch how you style your pieces. xx
Love how you posted another video this week! So excited for all the content coming now that you’re going full-time!! You go girl ❤️❤️ my favourite RU-vidr ☺️ i love all these pieces - they’re so beautiful!! I love how even though you purchased different pieces, you’re still very mindful and measured about your purchases so that you don’t keep everything even though the pieces are SO beautiful - but you know that if you’re not going to get much use of it, you return it 🤗 loved this video Bethany!! You looked so beautiful in all the pieces 💕
Omg who are you?? Why have I not come across your channel sooner? Your voice, your style, that room... so calming. The aubane shirt is the prettiest/sexiest shirt I have ever seen.. and the lives shirt looks so dainty and not too funky at all, you should totally keep those!
Yes! That black lace shirt is so good! I think the reason why the wide sleeves are so good is because they end at your waist line, so they kind of emphasize the waist! So fun to see your Sezane picks! Xo
Loved all the pieces! These are all 100% beautiful and very unique. But I think some of them, like the sweater, might be a “I feel so jolly” purchase and those feelings don’t usually last very long. What works for is always asking myself “if I’m making too many excuses and over explaining or justifying this purchase is a big red flag, so no” They're cute but idk if they are YOU Beth
Thanks Kim. I agree with this mostly but I also think it’s worth experimenting and reinventing sometimes as well. Especially with brands with free returns. Before the credits, you can see which pieces I returned.
That’s very true! I just wanted to share what usually works for me haha sorry I know it was definitely advice no one asked for 😂 I love your content and I’m happy I’ll be seeing more of you now that you’re full time 💕💕
For the few items in bolder colours you have and the classic styling of each, you can rest assured that they will work for you for years to come. Then on those days when you get the neutral blahs you can rock out something a little stronger for a boost. Or when you need a strong look for a little extra wow factory. Most of my wardrobe hovers around gray & black shades, but I also rock a top in blue, pumpkin or red now and again.
Soooooo happy for you being able to go full time on here and selfishly so excited that I get even more videos from you! This is such a great haul, we have similar body types so you’re my favorite resource for sure and I love your taste. Need to give this brand a try I’ve been in love with everything you ever show from them on your channel
Ooh I gotta say I’m kinda sad you’re returning that first blouse. The detail was so beautiful and the style of it makes it seem perfect year round. I understand that you gotta choose though!
Thank you! When the new capsule was revealed last week, I thought, what would bethany buy? Haha. Love your insight. So happy you will now be full time on your platforms. 😊❤
The Arthur pants are a favourite of mine too, which is interesting because I'm 5'9" with very long legs. I think they are onto something with the tailoring of that style! Hips are my widest point and i find wide-leg trousers so luxurious for that body style, a sweet balance between feminine/masculine styling.
@@gclaux I usually wear a size 26 jean, 33 inch inseam (84 cm) for leg length, a size 2 or 4 USA or size 36 French. I found that the Arthur trousers I purchased ran true to size, they were if anything a bit long and a bit bigger in the waist than expected. I would qualify that by saying that I bought the ones in their SS19 collection, i do not have the ones from Winter 2019 so don't know if they changed anything. I usually find the detailed product info on Sezane's site to be quite accurate. Hope that helps!
I think that if we choose colours that suit us perfectly they can act almost as neutrals or become a stable colour associated with our personal style. Monochrome outfits in bolder colours can have a similar effect to an all neutral outfit if styled correctly in my opinion, and we can achieve versatility by going after complimentary colours. I personally suit and love certain gem colours (ruby, emerald, blue sapphire) and I find that they combine beautifully with neutrals but also with each other. The forest green you chose has a lasting quality because it simply compliments your skin tone and hair so well!
I love this video! I especially love the design and layout of the “final tally.” It’s obvious you’re a designer! I really enjoyed this video full of Sézane pieces. I have had some pants and tops/sweaters on my wish list for a few years. Never took the plunge because there is no store local to me and I am not quite convinced of the quality/longevity. Still a little too “hyped” but i might try in a few years. I’ve been looking for secondhand forever, but almost everything secondhand sells for like-new prices so I haven’t tried anything there either. Lovely to watch you try it, though!
you can always wear a neutral top to go w forest green or dark green (black, navy, white, cream, black/white stripes) and go for a leopard print flat for a pop of color
i love all the items you decided to keep! i picked the same items! so glad to see you making the leap to go on youtube full time. Excited to see more content and more video podcasts! :D
I love your style. I'm petite too, with short torso and long legs. But It will be wonderful if you post more videos giving advices for girls with my type of body. Please!
Hi, watching your video for the first time and I really enjoyed it. I had been debating about purchasing from Sezane because I love their cuts and designs, but not being able to try it on in person makes me nervous. Good to hear your thoughts on the brand and see how you style it.
Where are those gorgeous bodysuits from? I've been looking for a good bodysuit or equivalent forever. Also LOVE the nude Aubane shirt (and green is absolutely your colour)
I know I am in the minority here, but I really do prefer the neutrals.....far from boring, they are the classics, and you, my dear, are very classic, indeed!! I think you made the right choices in what you kept.
Hi Bethany, I really love your style and enjoy your videos 😊 could you also link in the description where the other pants are from which are not from Sézane? Thanks a lot in advance 😊
Wow that green color really looks good on you... I would like to see you in dark red - color of wine if you like... I think it would be beautiful on you as well and it is also kind of neutral color that goes through autumn, winter, spring... Keep the pink sweater, noone will Know hehe it's gorgeous but not with those pants its material bothers me.. some colors might not be timeless (pink Will always be timeless but the situations to wear that color change ), but they make my day and the people who wear them.
Lovely pieces! You have exquisite taste. I have to point out though: the first pants give you a v-shape in the front accentuating the crotch area, so maybe the belt is too tight? Also forest green looks amazing in you, very Meghan Markle. I really love all the tops ❤
Hi Bethany, I have become a fan... Find your videos very helpful! Thanks. I am considering buying some shirts at Sezane. How do you do with the long sleeves? Do you take them to a tailor?
I think the best way to describe the green shirt is alluring! The back gives a glimpse of a provocative silhouette... which in itself is sexy! You don't need to expose a lot of skin to be sexy... I think its beautiful!
Hey Bethany! Love the video, I'd been eyeing the Gabrielle top as well. Quick question: do you remember the name of the blouse you are wearing in (most of) the Dreamy Winter Whites video? I need it!
Oh, but I love that fuchsia pink sweater on you! Maybe deep down you have a hot pink personality (speaking as a quiet Taurus with a loud visual presence). Just think of it as an opportunity to be an accented neutral masterpiece... or wear it with those red pants and be an undeniable boss lady! 😉
Hi Bethany! I returned my green Ivy blouse. The color was so amazing, but the cleavage that showed through that front lace panel was just too much for me personally. That is the fine line I need to walk with all the beautiful Sezane tops, that line between flirty, feminine, and sexy and too revealing for my tastes and shape. I also did keep the Olric sweater, however mine is that aqua green. I was on the fence with it because I am petite like you and I can feel a little "lost" in the sweater. One question I have is do you own any of the Gaspard sweaters and how do you style them? Does the XS fit you? I just received a couple and I am on the fence with them.
