Hey Bethany! Would you consider doing a video on fashion brands you follow that are being more conscious of climate change? I know Everlane recently stated that they use recycled materials to make their jeans and recycle about 98% of their water, so I was wondering if you knew of any other companies doing the same. Loved this video and your style
A few ethical companies I love are Everlane, Kotn, Elizabeth Suzann, Cuyana, Nisolo, RE/DONE, Reformation. Here is an article on Sezane's ethical standards as well: ecocult.com/french-brand-sezane-ethical-sustainable/
Enjoyed your video! I’m an American expat living in Paris and discovered Sézane a few years ago. Love their pieces for many of the reasons you mention...quality, style and attention to detail. Placed my order this AM too before it all sold out! Would love to see your unboxing!
I love that you’re so considered in your purchases. You really care about what you spend your money on and it’s so refreshing. I love that if you don’t think something will work for you, you don’t consider it whereas in the past I’ve been in the mindset of ‘I’ll get it any way and send it back maybe!’ I’m so glad I found your channel because I’m really trying to spend my money on thought through purchases and no longer spend my money on fast fashion. Thank you so much! I would love to see an unboxing if that’s something you’re happy to do! ❤️❤️
Yes, Autumn is my favorite season in general, and the best season for fashion. I wish more people felt this way lol. The weather is less extreme but more varied in temperature, so more opportunity to wear different pieces/layers. The color palette is exquisite and better suited to my preferences. Quintessential autumnal pieces are also my favorites, like boots, structured wool coats, sweaters, etc. You get all the beauty and elegance of cold weather pieces without freezing your ass off, or needing to resort to full-on puffy coats and winter boots.
I liked all the items you chose to buy. I got some hints and techniques. I made my shopping list and soon do the shopping following the list. Thanks Dearly Bethany and Jack.
Pretty kitty!! I have two but the girl I raised by bottle feeding, is 14 this year and you can definitely tell that she's an old lady now. This season, Sezane has a couple of jumpers that I loved but sadly they were wool. Love, love natural fabrics but straight will makes me itch! Found a "beautiful" (lol) white lady cotton cardie that I will go for.
I have saw this channel grow and I’m absolutely happy! I have followed you even when you were still at 2k subs and you even followed me back on my Twitter back then🙆🏻♀️😄 Now you’re on 300k, I know you’re just getting bigger. I always love your videos, they are always informative especially because I feel like they are directed towards me. Your style is absolutely what I aspire to also have✨ Thank you for what you contribute.
I loved this video! So calming and informative at the same time. It’s really interesting to me to learn more about your shopping habits - why you choose the pieces you do and the thought process behind it. If you’re up for it, I’d love to see videos of you doing this for other brands as well (like Everlane)!
Thank you for introducing me to ethical brands that make such beautiful timeless pieces, just purchased the Lea boots in black croco ❤️ wouldn’t have found them without this video
Thank you for taking us along on a shopping visit. This was super helpful. Sezane is absolutely gorgeous and the beauty can be overwhelming sometimes lol. Your style is simply timeless.
Haha I find how you butcher names adorable! Love this video, I never think of going through this website. The pieces you showed are really beautiful actually, contemplating treating myself to one of them now. Thank you so much girl! 🙏
This is so much more helpful than just a haul 😍 your though process is so interesting. I'd still love to see a haul and an overview of what you kept and what didn't stay.
Love Sézane but I wish they would include one traditional picture of the garment. Sometimes the poses make it hard to know the fit and features of the piece. Fun video.
So true! Their pictures are beautiful and look like straight out of a magazine, but if I spend so much money on a garment and on the shipping fee (and maybe even on the return fee), I want to see how it fits, how it looks in the back etc. Also, some pictures look almost the same and I always ask myself why they include both of them. 🙄
Ohhh I also love these new items. I’m currently eyeing the gaspard jumper but the jumpers with the buttons on the sleeves are adorable as well. Not sure if I have a fave but I am considering buying 3 pieces from Sézane this season
Hi Bethany! Can you make a video only about jackets and light coats for fall? I need to buy a few but can’t decide which ones would be the best investment. 🙃
Love your videos and content Bethany! Thanks for another great video. I would absolutely love a Pinterest board by you on reliable fashion brands with quality and ethical clothing. Thank you for your channel!
Thank you for your video. I'm trying to make my wardrobe more "grown up" and I learnt about Everlane and Sezane from your videos. Does anyone know how often Sezane come out with new collections? I want to replace some of my pieces with higher quality ones, but I always hesitate and not sure whether to start from tshirts, knitwear, trousers or shoes... And I fear everything will be sold out soon. P. S. I would actually love a video from you about replacing old clothes with high quality and classic pieces and where to start. I'd benefit from it so much!
Thanks Alexandra! I believe they have 8-12 releases a year. Usually a pre-season and season release for each of the 4 seasons. I follow them on instagram and they usually countdown to each release.
I like your idea so much! transitioning to higher quality mature lady looking clothing.. I don't know where to start! Should I buy 1 nice jean or t-shirt or blouse... since you cannot really buy all at once. A video with a budget of $500 or not even have a budget but just a nice starting wardrobe... that will be a helpful video.
I love the bright colours they have in this collection but I also try and minimise my colour scheme. I'm loving their purple coat though and as I am in need of a wool coat, that is definitely going on my wish list!
Love this - what a beautiful collection! I would love to get some things from Sezane one day, but this fall winter season I will be looking very pregnant. I had just begun to work on replacing pieces and cultivating my personal style, and the day my high waisted everlane jeans came in I found out that I was expecting... so I haven't been able to wear them, and I'm just hoping they will work postpartum. All that to say, I'd love to hear any advice you might have in dressing chic while accommodating an ever growing bump. :)
This walk-through of wardrobe-building, thinking of needed tailoring and care while shopping is fantastic! My current method (had I been smarter and anticipated Sèzane spending money) would be to flail with joy then sporadically purchase and hope it would all work out, haha. XD
When I was in Paris last week, we walked for about 40 minutes to the Sezane boutique. Unfortunately, the website stated the store was opened but it wasn't. In fact, it was a brand new store and the staff was actually unpacking the collection. The other boutique was closed on Thursday! So sad.....
so apparently the sézane website is down because i can‘t access anything right now 🙈 gosh i love their styles! so gorgeous! could buy anything! i‘m always looking for their things second hand as well.
off topic Bethany - but I love your style and videos! Question - I ordered and received the Eliz Suzann parobola dress - but there's so much material! Perhaps I need a smaller size but wonder if maybe the artist dress would be better? I'm 5'2" myself - I think you have both - can you compare? Thanks so much and did I mention how much I love your style?? I did just get the ES harper tunic and LOVE it! thanks so much - sandy
it was a strapless mermaid gown with a 3 foot train and a floor-length veil. I wore ballet flats bc i was scared of tripping lol. That was a while ago so I'd be interested in what I would have chosen if we had gotten married now.
Dearly Bethany For sure it’d be so interesting to see what you’d choose now! I was curious because I am the same height as you and the idea of a wedding dress scares me, as I always thought it’d be hard to look elegant as someone short 😅
@@bethanyleonardo hi Bethany love your style could you please do a video of what you would choose now if you had gotten married. That would be just awesome thank you.
I follow you since almost 2 years ago and I’ve seen your style evolution and it’s been amazing! Also you have an angel voice❤️😁 A hug from Mexico :) Ps: I highly recommend you check Aly Art videos on Kibbe body types. It can help you elevate your style even more!!💕
Hi Bethany, love your videos and I am considering buying Amedee jumper based on your recommendation. I am curious if you have ever returned an item back to them. How was your returns experience?
안녕? 나는 한국에서 왔단다. 네 영상은 참 매력적이야. 아주 아름답구나. 네가 소개하는 옷들도 아주 멋져. 또 보자~! Hi? I am from Korea. Your video is very attractive. Very beautiful. The clothes you introduce are also very nice. See you soon ~!
Very nice everything, i am thinking to sell some sweters from Peru, they are made by hans from pour people, i hope that it works. i love your videos. best wishes for you.
A make up video may come in the future and that's totally fine that this wasn't your cup of tea. I don't expect every person to love every video I post. That would be impossible. All I can do is post content I feel is helpful and brings value to a majority of the viewers.
Personally I LOVED this video and would love to see more like this. It helps to see the process of shopping and how she makes sure to pick pieces she will actually wear.
