Constructive feedback because you’re amazing Payne: EVERY RU-vidr for SF Duel does the “bring up the character card and read the text super fast” runthrough. At least for me, I’ve read them, but the characters and terms are super complex, so a video that’s largely reading it all again super fast doesn’t help. I’d love a showcase that didn’t read me what it said, but plainly tells me what it actually means. These characters have so many unique mechanics they feel almost like MOBA skill builds; figuring out “how to actually play” them is a surprisingly deep, surprisingly complex feat.
Hey Mark, thanks for the feedback. I do try and showcase each skill in action. for example reading c1 and then trying to show how burns stack more cause of target effect reduction as well as how he gets healed for more because it increases his healing by 40% etc. Imperator state and how it heals him and when it procs. I read it over again because I then try to explain it a bit further (sorry, I know I talk super fast lol). If the gameplay didn't help understand him a bit better as a dps, vs as a bruiser tank, then I failed the showcase and I apologize.
@@PayneBlade Nah man this one actually broke things down in a super helpful way. You’re killing it. I’m just amazed at how much there is to chew on with each character. I end up watching breakdown videos and then am like “Ok got it. Wait…” and I’ve been gaming for like 30 years, haha.

I believe the wording on the passive is correct, it procs for the first time he hits each one of those thresholds, so once at 75, once at 50, once at 25, and once at dead when u get the FS
Man Payne I don’t even know how you made it past the multiple stages in 36 and on, I’m just getting wrecked without having BGief available for my other teams. And honestly 36-28 has me stumped what with having Mad Ryu just completely mauling everyone on my teams.
Haha just use Honda as another interrupt with his c1 and get with his c1 too. There are many ways to do it without interrupt if u can overpower as well
Thanks for the info as always, quick question though. Do you think i should max my bison (currently SSS 3 star) or go for sagat, i also have S vega who im considering but maybe Sagat is the better chioce overall... Also could not agree more with the fathers day fighters we got.... just seemed lazy.
Have they ever nerfed a character post-release? Like even if the invincibility reoccurring after being healed wasn't intended, it doesn't really seem like it's too far off from what the impact of the character is intended to have... unless the situation is that he just can't die period (revives even at 0% multiple times). Otherwise, the fact that Bison exists as he is kind of dulls the OP nature of Sagat.

Rokage gives out good info.. but i just prefer your videos Can you make a tier list of who should get plus 30 stones first for f2p Also a suggestion list of which characters should be paired for assists Example my team which idk i like viper more but wish i chose guile I got elena viper b zangief bison My assists i usually find myself putting is either chun li on viper And cammy on bison Because my chun li is 3 stars vs dhalsim is 1 star or no stars.. Am i making the right call there even if Dal sim is weaker should i still prioritize his assist over chunli Another comp i do because my team is all mixed Honda on viper 1 star Zangif on b zabgief Gives me defense but lqcks dps and i heard you say its mostly a dps game... Sadly my elena is 1 star vs street poison is 0 star and elena been pushing me further in story
I'm not gonna complain too much about the Fathers Day options as that Mad Ryu will give me a SSS+4 Mad Ryu (my first SSS+4) and therefore a SSS+4 FBlanka. But, yeah, those options definitely could have been better. Dhalsim, BZang and E. Honda would have been so much better. And I as I mentioned when you did your first video on him, his healing is absurd. The 60% stack from his C1 affects everything, including the 40% heal from his passive and the 20% revive from his FS20 effect. When messing around in the trials, I had him full heal off of the revive trigger. I also really enjoy how well parts of his kit synergize with the other members of Shadaloo. The Effect Resist debuff he applies in turn allows Bison and Vega to apply weakness and bleed more often respectively. I still want to get AChun-Li once I finish Bison (four copies to go) but I'm planning on grabbing him before I work on Rose.
@miniramptricks1986 congratulations. I started playing six weeks ago and am still in the early to mid game part, where his damage output is still very good.
I was pulling for Rose, but after watching this I'll pull for da Tiger Man lol. Good thing I still have upward of 140k gems saved (f2p). Thanks for all your videos my man, much appreciated
trendy cammy better for bosses, sagat everything else. Depends on what you want to do better in. T cammy needs more commitment to resources such as cars and fs30 tho
Almost up to 80 multi pulls and still need 2 copies to SSS him. Although the game is still playable without all the new units, it does get boring when all of them are so inaccessible. Got mega shafted on E. Ryu, 30 multis and stuck at A+, now worse with Sagat. Super annoying
This is OT but have you tried DS Blades of Hashira? It's pretty fun esp if youre a fan of the anime. I was trying to find a tier list but all the vids are from foreign CCs so its kinda rough to follow. Thanks for all your content and also happy father's day!
