Chenlong was frustrated and just moving around the court...on other side santo was quite and played without tense..and. Never seen chen like this emotions...santo was good
Chen Long is arrogant, same as Lin Dan, they can conquer the world with superficial victories but can never master the importance of humility, which is an important hallmark of true sportsmanship..
I admire Chen Long's play. But his attitude really needs to be improved if he is going to be the undisputed world number one when Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei retire. They way he look at his opponent every point he wins irks me, and at 32:04 , he is the one who tried to influence the line judge first by opening up his arms to indicate an out, but he turns to Simon Santoso and points his racket while staring at him when Simon let out a "war cry". The way he reacts to it does not deserve any respect.
I'm a Chinese British and I hate Chen Long. I was appalled with the way he celebrated when defeating Peter Gade in the Olympics and was ecstatic when Lee Chong Wei thrashed him.
Aren't we being too judgemental about chen's arrogance, whom most of us only watched a few games of his? I wonder how much of that hatre is from the frustrations of their hero being beaten by this young fellow. In that case, there is no sportmanship from those comments at all.
