As much as people hate this character, I like how Elf's kit completely went beyond the standard Street Fighter norms and demonstrated how crazy SF can be played.

lmao, it's -1 up close, and it has 10 active frames. You do the math. It's the most retarded slide in any fighter. You don't even have to try and meaty or space it and he's already + on block.

I kind of want to see El Fuerte in Marvel vs Capcom with a slight redesign, he's fun but he seems a bit out of place in Street Fighter. Maybe Seth too, as the Capcom version of Super Skrull.

Do agree on that, the execution was difficult to pull consistently, but the mechanic still was too broken, just my opinion though, that character had his hardcore fanbase back in the day, they even had that "salute" at the beginning of mirror matches lol.

El fuerte was my main but trust me 5x run stop fierce isn't that easy to pull off and he still was bottom tier as much as y'all don't like him he was only good for scrub stomping that's y I moved on to Seth lol
