@LoLoStuff True, but Daigo is associated with Ryu because no one can play Ryu better than Daigo. He mastered that character so much so that everyone picked up Ryu in the previous installment of SF and Capcom nerfed him as a result.
Sorry to break it to you but Tokido is not playing akuma that well in this game. He said he is dropping him for Ken last week. If you wanna learn Akuma i advise you to watch Kawano.
Thanks for pointing this out. I feel like most players are Blinded by Tokido's Old legacy and are not even noticing that he isn't performing that much with Akuma in SF6.
Tokido is and always will be the #1 AKUMA. Just like I “Ameriken” will always be the #1 Sagat. Don’t know who I am? Oh, let them drop Sagat and you will not only know who I am but also know my history as the only Black guy living in Japan going toe to toe with the best
Tokido is far from being the number 1 Akuma in sf6 sadly. He even dropped him for Ken recently. Never heard of Ameriken nor is there records of you anywhere btw.
I feel let down by Akumas play style. I really didn't want him to be broken of course but I think he is too predictable to be Akuma in this street fighter. He's always been my favorite Shoto but I think he is barely on the level of RYU right now. 😢

Drive rush ruins the traditional street fighter format it makes combos to easy to go into many by sheer luck. Gets rid of mastering distancing, ruins zoning and makes footsies autistic. Drive rush was implemented to extend combos and make them look "fancier" but this is a bad tradeoff for the traditional things I noted. Drive rush is ASS
