I gotta say it. This game is trash because of the throw priority. Throws should not be able to beat out special moves much less any move that cost resources. The amount of throw loops in this “High Level” gameplay is insane and makes for pretty lame content to watch.

It’s not priority, it’s just meaties, which is what let’s throw loops exist. If a strike and throw interact on the same frame, the strike will actually win, but most throws give you enough time to make the next one meaty so that you have to either break throw or spend meter on invincibility.
