sadly its not optimal, otherwise it would be pretty good. instead of 5HP -> OD adamant flame you can 2HP -> OD adamant flame for like 100 more dmg, which probably kills. Also instead of OD tatsu -> light shoryu -> Level 3, you get 82 more dmg if you (after od demon flip -> fireball) DR -> 2MP -> DR -> 4HK -> 2 charge fireball -> slight delay Medium Tatsu -> light shoryu -> Level 3. Obviously the more optimal combo is bad to do in real games because you can very easily drop the delay medium tatsu, still super hard to do, and if you dont kill will burn you out. Daigo's didnt burn him out so it's probably better to do because you recover 2 drive by the time level 3 finishes, and is wayy easier to do. Though at almost all ranges (and im pretty sure the he could have done 2HP, cant be certain ofc), you can 2HP instead of 5HP for slightly more dmg. It does sadly dq it for WIK (and if I see it there I will rage)

And kakeru plays both Akuma and JP, if anyone's gonna be comfortable with either matchup it's gonna be him

Because it makes no sense for a slow zoning character to have an anti air that either traded or didn’t work at all

If you exclude people that main JP, you might be right.

​@@maxjones2704 even though they play JP, they play aggressively with their zonings, they're constantly attacking, but keeping their space. Daigo just plays passively against most of the characters and players, trying to whiff punish
