Every single dlc character is a brutal matchup for Gief, if capcom doesn't throw this character a lifeline I doubt people will keep playing him aside from the most loyal fans

Backstep on reaction while charging punishes DI but is spacing dependant. Zangief walk speed makes it extremely easy for ed to play around the spacing. It's not as simple as just DI.

What I think happened is that this commentor is a bot who saw the word “Zangief” and dropped a vague comment about Zangief as a response. It’s easy to figure out once you know what to look for. Especially take note on how the bot says nothing about Snake Eyez nor Nephew. These two are the main topics of the video, yet the comment doesn’t even hint at them. It could be that the comment doesn’t relate to them and thus doesn’t need to hint at the two, or it could be that the the creator of this bot doesn’t have a response built for those keywords since they don’t know who Snake Eyez or Nephew even are. Which sounds more believable? I’d say the latter option. So, since the comment is very braindead and doesn’t hint at knowledge of important topics like Snake Eyez or Nephew, you can make a hypothesis and guess that this is a young, dumb bot with very basic programming spouting out vague nonsense. We don’t know 100% for sure, but it seems very likely when we consider all these factors. It’s a lot, but it’s an interesting subject imo. Decided I’d share some info because of that.
