I main Dhalsim and he doesnt need that cause thats his whole deal, he is very very good at zoning but weak in close combat. Plus if you get to corner you have tools to escape: Reversal and Parry, what i do is try to not spam them thought. I assume you try to learn him so here things you can do when in corner: 1) Blocking: Crouch block is must for lower ranking cause they dont know to punish it much like higher ranking players, so the things you can expect is Drive Impact (DI), Grabs or Jumps. {DI} is the easiest to read in that position. Grabs are little tricky but if you see them pause for split of second they are going for Grab. Jumps is where you can find a window for escape/counter attack them and make them think twice Jumping, if they neutral jump you hit them with Back+MP or Back+HK but MP is better cause you can combo with MP Yoga Flame. If they try cross jump is you can use Down+HK and slide away from corner 2) Parry: Needs good reads from you for P. Parry but even regular parry is great cause they can only stop it with Grab or try to bait so your focus will be on those 2 things, nothing else can anything to you. 3) Reversal: Is the best and easiest thing that can get you out of a corner but try not to spam it cause they can punish it with {DI} 4) Drive Impact {DI}: Only use if see or expect them to do Special Moves, Haddoken, Tatsumaki and such (not Supers) they can't {DI} counter back. 5) Pokes: These i can't help you with tips is just a thing you will have to learn during your games. 6) Take an aerial hit: If you jump while they attacking with a non-knocking attack you would a fast flip and you can poke them first with LP and start a combo (Example: LP, Back+MK, Special Yoga Flame, HP Lv1 Super) You will take chip damage but you will do 3 times the damage back and get of the corner but it only works if you jump while you have a little space between ya, if try to jump when he is very near you wont lift and they catch you to a combo. 🧍🧍‍♂❌ 🧍 🧍‍♂ ✔ Something like this 😅, you can try on training with a CPU

@jacobmarley2417 okay. I was thinking because they made the rank of master in most cases of the video, but I was thinking there is no way he is just this crucial. BUT, I've just recently watched a few tournaments, and some Master level dudes are getting perfects against great, well-known SF Legends on occasion. This could just be the highlight reel of him making good moves out of like 1000 games

@jacobmarley2417 You are wrong. Just because the SIM player is good doesn't mean his opponents are bad at the game. As a matter of fact, these are the top 0.1% of people who play the game. The stats are published by capcom monthly.

@@obi7295 I’m not basing my view on the Dhalsim player but rather the movesets and the actions of the opponents themselves. @4:00 example, this Honda player does one jab and one attempted throw which results in an escape , every other action they took in round 1 was a headbutt. almost all from the other side of the screen. Round 2 their fair slightly better but still not what I’d expect to see. Many other opponents have terrible timings and under or overshoot countless moves, as I said to me it seems largely to be a spam fest.Maybe I am just unfamiliar with the new mechanics as I have not played since SF4 but this would be embarrassing back then. Maybe Dynatrill is correct too and these are massively cherry picked battles but that doesnt excuse the E honda player u less they handed the controller to thier lil brother that match.

@@IAMGODAPOPHIS those mini jump teleports behind kills me i play lily and its mostly a luck thing for me i know c.hp beats it but most times i get a overhead from the process of switching sides it kills me i definitely need to understand how to cross dp if only she was a bit taller could just jab him out the air like everyone else

i agree there are lot of Masters there that doesnt have idea how to play against Sim, but this Sim is still legit, Sim is maybe worst 5 characters in the game tbh, once you play with someone with experience against Sim, is almost impossible to win. I play Sim and im very close to be Master, still a looot to learn, but is a pain in the ass to win with him.
