Yaaa, neither did I I was like 😳 loll which is kinda annoying bc it was just a fierce into SA2 I think. Chun Li even with a lvl2 doesn't KO with something so simple, and yet ppl keep saying she's OP and cheap 😂 she hard af to make work.

Cammy is favored over Chun in their matchup.

I would say it is a 5/5. Cammy has a good divekick that can punish Chun's low forward, and spin knuckle stops Chun from throwing fireballs mindlessly, but Chun does absurd damage, and her buttons are a bit better than Cammy's

@@ricniclas statistics amongst masters and other high ranks show it's closer to 5.5/6 in Cammy's favor, at least. Chun's damage is not absurd, it's just better than Cammy's. And Chun's buttons being better is laughable to me, who is a Master Chun. Cammy's fit her aggressive, high-pressure offense with block strings landing her outside of Chun's punish range, and then Cammy's normals have built-in Shimmying depending on when you throw out what... which facilitates Cammy whiff-punishing Chun quite easily. That matchup is NOT even. It's not overwhelmingly in Cammy's favor but if Cammy is playing her game and Chun is playing hers, Cammy wins. That's obvious.

@@Saxandfifths I am a Master Chun as well, there's anything laughable about Chun Li's buttons compared to Cammy. we really have different views on the character we play. for example, one of the strengths of Cammy of how her lights confirms gives her knockdowns, were as Chun Li requires charge. but if you can do 5LP/2MK and combo into spinning bird on counter hut, you get better damage and corner carry than all of Cammy's combos on the same situation, and Chun can do it from pretty far away, were as Cammy would miss her 2MP, that is a tool as Chun. the same goes for her 6HK, she can get way more damage than Cammy by going over her Low Forward. I agree about everything you said for Cammy, but that's her strengths against anyone in the cast, not exactly against Chun Li. and some of Chun's tools are good against her. For example, shimmy is a bit more dangerous against Chun because of how air legs can beat the shimmy button, and Chun can get 2MK/ Drive Rush into a side switch combo. We can have different opinions on the match up, but there's absolutely no obvious right vision
