SFI Lease Process | Did A Few Improvements | What I'm Paying To Lease This Truck Thru SFI?

I’m doing the same thing, man. Picking up a 2020 Kenworth 680 from SFI in a couple weeks and heading to Landstar. I’ve leased with them before when I was at Schneider. You just can’t make “get ahead” money being a company driver. You gotta take the risk and go for it. You’re doing the right thing if you want to make some real money.

Landstar has good paying loads from what I'm told . I'm currently leasing a truck from a small company out of Chicago and no big company B.S. I'm bringing home 3100 to 1600 and 1600 is with 4 days home . Good luck and GOD BLESS .

Check with OOIDA about your physical damage insurance. $404 a month. I'm at Landstar with an SFI lease truck. In my last year of my lease, and paying it off at the end. You'll make money here if you got your game together.

You did good. I like the spacious freightliner ! That apu works well, keep filter clean. It’s in cabinet behind driver seat. Buy the ac filter at lowes. It’s blue. You can cut to fit 5 or 6. They cast 8.00, you can rinse them out. will save you $$$$ You have done good doing what you did. 140 k. It’s broke in and most kinks are gone. Nice color.

Came across your video watching others, but I subscribed just now brother. I noticed a few comments fam in regards to leasing and while I'm not a big time fan of these money hungry ass companies and their get over schemes, I'll say that I can respect the be a man about it nature in how you stand on your path. For those that read this, you can always start with a lease, tighten up your credit, contact a credit union (typically better rates) and get them to take up the lease to then pay monthly. Just a thought but respect and blessings to all of you.

I got a truck thru SFI volvo I did pay it off in 14 month with landstar but I have to work my ass off is posible.

Aron,lease or not lease, it doesn't matter. The only thing what counts is to keep your dream a live and that game is the same one here in europe as there in the states. Now you have a leased truck, prepare your self for a walk thrue the walley of dorns but be patient and dont listen to shit like " i am taking only the good payed trips". Thats not gona work bro, consider always the time you spend waiting for a load.

Did you do a Rig Dig or have SFI do one? That way you'll know for sure if the truck has been involved in an accident. Its like carfax but for trucks. Knowledge is power brother.....

Big ups. Everyone is different. Just because someone isn't successful doesn't mean you won't be and vice versa. All about how you do business. Everyone talks about getting a used truck and that's great if you got 15k+ put away. I prefer going new starting out where warranty covers anything and the save for that 2nd truck

I got a used 2019 Cascadia with 14,000 miles on it from SFI, it currently has 281,xxx miles on it and am sitting at 0 break downs. I also am at Landstar.

Isn't there a tax advantage for leasing new trucks vs buying used, that you can write off the entire lease amount, or even part of it, per year and save on taxes??

Leasing is great if it's what u need. Especially if u can put the truck on with any company. Lease purchase on the other hand is there the bullshit is. I think that's what most ppl talk down about

I just came across this video. i'm trying to do as much research as possible. At some point i do want to own my own truck and be my own boss instead of working for a company as a company driver and being told where to go, and when i'm allowed to take hometime. it's just a scary thing going from being a company driver to making that jump to leasing. especially if i don't have a down payment or good credit right now.
