Visual signals give easy, clear indication to the operator wherever they may be on the shop floor. The paper tension holds very accurately throughout the speed range, no matter how much board is on the reel while the variable speed glue rollers are advanced or retarded depending on the speed of the line further reducing glue consumption and making a stronger, drier paper tube or core.
