If Sega officially had Modern and Boom Shadow fight each other it probably wouldn’t be for a case of mistaken identity, especially on Boom Shadow’s part. Although, it probably would be for an equally dumb and/or pointless reason.

Normal Shadow: Three dimensional character with a tragic backstory of his closest friend getting killed, which explains his withdrawn lone wolf behavior and his initial hatred for humans. Ends up sacrificing his life to save the people who took his best friend away from him. Is antisocial and quiet for the most part yet he still has a few friends. Is badass without even trying, has awesome powers and serves as a great rival for Sonic. Can be cold and apathetic but at his core, he is a hero willing to uphold justice. Even if people persecute him for it, Shadow is willing to risk his life to save humanity Boom Shadow: Evil antagonistic jerk who is an edgy one dimensional prick with no explanation to his cruel arrogant personality. Tries to hard to act cool and edgy and just comes off as unlikable. He constantly troubles Sonic and his friends and constantly sees Sonic as a weakling due to having friends (what kind of fucking logic is that?). He is a terrible rival for Sonic and has an overpowering pride and will ruthlessly pursue anyone who damages it. For example attacking Sonic and his friends and nearly beating them to death, trying to kill Eggman and attempting to destroy the entire universe just because his feelings were hurt (how petty is that?). Is a villain and has no redeeming qualities other than the fact that he has badass fights

Why exactly is Shadow in Sonic Boom? There's no Space colony ARK, no Professer Gerald and Maria; as well as BlackDoom

Personally I believe modern shadows sheer experience with chaos energy, and intelligence would quickly overpower boom shadow. Boom shadow is far too weak minded and impatient while modern is calm collected and good at strategizing against his opponents. And boom shadows powers within the game and the show seem to be far lesser in terms of stature in comparison to modern shadows. This is just what I think but still good nonetheless.

And boom shadows only chaos power that he's displayed is Chaos Spear, as far as I know anyway. And og shadow kills everything he touches when he takes off his rings. Anyway, great Animations though!
