So after turn off it will be disconnected from the battery?

@@rajdme2005 don't think so, I hearsay there are 4 cables to this new IU (2 to battery, 2 to ignition) But when the bike is off, ever you insert in the Cashcard, the screen won't turn on.

@zwc5114 I am worried abt battery if I go for overseas trips. If like I can disconnect IU from battery like now would be better. Otherwise battery will die.

@@rajdme2005 I think for this new OBU, it's better to just disconnect the battery, less complicated that way.

I don't think there's a way to lock it. Pretty much close the lower flap and that's it.

The bracket should be included by the authorities installer. From my understanding it should be 1st May 2024 for existing bikes (by notice letter). If brand new should have been started since Feb 2024.

Malaysia registered bikes can too (I guess). From my understanding, the old IU are no longer available, now they only offer this new OBU (which costs more now , $2xx Vs $156).

@@zwc888 Ooo I see, so if I go to vicom and buy the ERP device I'll get the new OBU right??
