Now that Greg is officially part of Halloweenfest. You guys should do Horror Land from Mario Party 2 or SuperStars, if you guys have the time, before October is over.
Ya know... This would have been a surprise... But that Puppet Combo game kind of prepped me for anything. Iron Lung, huh? This will be interesting I think.
I remember watching this, seeing the different event flags and being genuinely disturbed. This game is basically "what if subnautica fully embraced the semi horrors of being trapped in a vehicle with no defenses"
Oh hell yeah. Absolutely adore this game EDIT: Ohhhh they didn't finish it. The game is less than an hour and they didn't get to any of the spooky stuff. Cause a lot of what they wanted in terms of scares didn't show up. Oh well. Glad they still had fun!
Genuinely surprised no one mentioned DUSK, which was made by the same creator before Iron Lung, great boomer shooter with excellent level design and environmental storytelling. Great soundtrack, too.
@@Da_ComputerMonster People just call any retro-style FPS that comes out nowadays a "boomer shooter", I don't personally _like_ the term, but it's everywhere now, to the point where not using it is like trying to swim against a strong current.
@@marcellosilva9286...Then JUST call it a "first person shooter", man! Its so easy to say/type, a mere CHILD can say it. (Sorry for taking my rage on you, I don't get these kids nowadays...)
I like how the game flat out says that the star light they see is from long dead stars and then they are going on about how we can see them and told again that the star light is from dead stars. It's not even a minute before people are asking about things the game literally just told them. lol.
I'm kinda disappointed yall didn't give this game much of a chance. The controls seem fairly simple and they were giving you time to be familiar with your surroundings before dropping the danger on you. You didn't even get through half of it before running into a wall at full speed and calling it quits. Saying it was too chill and had no danger
To be fair, this wasn't a full playthrough because of how they are doing this Halloweenfest. Plus they like the game, they just though it wasn't too scary
Okay so for those not in the know, this game is allllll about the lore. The terminal they briefly interacted with is basically a compendium where, if you type a certain name or term (like, “blood ocean”), you get additional bits of lore about the topic. You have to do a lot of guesswork and brainstorming to find the right keywords, but some descriptions also give you other keywords to use. There was also a letter next to the terminal the crew missed, but I’ll leave that to yourself to figure out. And in case you *really really really* have had zero exposure to this game and news, Markiplier (yeah that guy) released the trailer for the movie adaptation of Iron Lung, that he directed and starred in, and if you haven’t checked it out I highly recommend. He did also play the game and his videos go deeper into the lore if you’re interested in that.
I'm impressed with how much this game can do with such a low budget. The PS2 graphics and lack of, well, ANY visuals yet it's so damn efficient and making you feel uneasy. You never forget your first death. I suck ass at the game but it has my full respect. Rock on, Iron Lung.
I have Thalassophobia (fear of deep bodies of water) so you'd never catch me playing something like iron lung. but I did enjoy watching you guys mess around with it. p.s. I'm doing alright Greg
This just makes me completely confused on what Markiplier is going to do with it as a movie especially since that’s the movie that resulted in some scheduling conflict. Meet him miss a cameo in the five nights at Freddy’s movie.
Maybe watch markiplier play it then. Or literally anyone else that actually plays through it instead of crashing and giving up before any of the good build up and mystery. It's a good concept with an interesting story and fascinating world building
Please tell me Fallen Moon's Requiem from CotM awaits us as well as CotM 2. I am willing to settle for Order of Ecclesia though. That game was my first step into Castlevania.
This was a fun video, but I really do hope you guys continue this at a later date. The game's horror element is a slow burn that ramps up soon after the last checkpoint you reached. I think a lot of this game's hype comes from the lore, but even if you're not interested in that, the game was actually about to get interesting. Cool video though!
