That’s how most of those did it. Grew up in a city far from “their hood” but pretended to be all banged out. This dude and his couple of other homies who lived in my hood, they weren’t even respected out there in their neighborhood. We used to chase them around too. A few of them kept it cool though because they had no choice. He wasn’t one of them, we always punked this dude and his brother there on their street.
