Personally, I like the first Kiryu more. I actually like the blue color of his shoulder and arm canons, even if they do stand out from his color (for some reason, I actually do like the fact that they stand out. Maybe it's because they are highlighted as special). I also like the fact that the old one has additional blades. I also prefer Kiryu to have symmetrical arms (although I still find the different arm of the new one cool). Lastly, I find the old one to have a sleeker design, especially with the chest area and symmetrical arms. That and I like the silver color more. But hey, that is just me. You are perfectly entitled to your opinion, bro.
+Cade Thumann Though the blue colors scream "hit me!" to Godzilla, which explains why Godzilla destroyed those parts first. I think that's why v2 has a more uniform look.
You have a good point there. Then again, I do believe that Godzilla did go for Kiryu's body and head before managing to destroy the extra weapons in the scuffle (it's been such a long time since I last saw the movie, so I could be mistaken) (plus those weapons, regardless of color, look like they are easier to destroy as they are more pronounced given to them sticking on the side and can be torn off from where they are attached). Besides, anything that opposes Godzilla screams "hit me!". Practicality issues aside (not that I care much about realism in a crazy monster series), I still like the colorful look. To each his/her own, my good friend.
Cade Thumann Godzilla's first nuclear blast hit the blue "backpack". Afterwards, they wrestled, then Godzilla clawed off another part. Kiryu uses the electric blade, but gets it blown off by Godzilla. V2's parts stayed intact until the pilot decided to shoot them at Godzilla like missiles. The guns on the arms were dropped bc they were out of ammo and were only going to slow it down. Nothing against the blue and silver color (I like contrast, which is why I have MKG which has a pronounced gold and silver contrast), but I was just explaining the reason for its change. Yes, anything that opposes Godzilla screams "hit me!", but the blue attachments are like big red targets that say "hit me first!". And Godzilla did just that.
I see. My apologies for the lack of knowledge as I don't remember much from the film. Although I believe that the color was changed just for aesthetics as opposed to practicality. And I do believe that in the first film, even if they had gone for the same color, I am sure that Godzilla would still destroy those parts as they look obviously like the weapons that Godzilla is constantly attacked by (that and just hanging on the side makes it more pronounced). I never seen the sequel but I think that he just didn't attempt to pick off the smaller parts (may have been just fed up of Kiryu and just wanted to get rid of him. Plus, he might have just seen the smaller parts as just an annoyance as opposed to the real threat he wanted to focus on). Still, you may be right as they may have stated this in the film and maybe it was the color that got Godzilla's attention. Nonetheless, I do not care as I do indeed like the color change as it does look pretty cool. I just like the blue color aesthetic-wise. To be honest, I don't feel like continuously debating over a minor detail I don't really mind. Let's just agree to disagree, alright buddy?
+Meadeslemicah Well, if I am 100% correct, the Kiryu Mech was built over the original Godzilla skeleton in the movies, and Kiryu would sometimes tap into his rage mode thing and attack Tokyo & Godzilla. Hope I helped you out.... ☺
@@aidanmoore7212 Yes you're correct, see that bones were used to make Kiryu or either they kept it inside Kiryu. Once Godzilla roars something that he remembers, there will be a past of him and the bombing that mutated him. Then he went berserk destroying Japan.
It's not a backpack, There is only one thing on this earth invented by man called a backpack and it's used to put stuff in. Not used to shoot projectiles or boost you with rocket power. I'm sorry if i'm being harsh on you or something, I'm just that type that can't help but want to point out a mistake.
Ehsan LV I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but you really shouldn't ask RU-vidrs for the Figure/Game they are reviewing. You need to buy it yourself. Just saying...
