If you're in NZ I recommend investing on custom makeup storage (as per makeup collection part one) as the Ikea units are MUCH more flimsy for a huge $$$ and wont last anywhere near as many years as custom! If you have access to Ikea for cheap though, they're a good starting point unit for storage x

Weirdly enough I own zero make-up and have no clue how to put it on, but I love watching her videos (and a lot of other beauty channels) because it's fun and amazing to watch people transform themselves and express themselves. Her make-up collection is astonishing nonetheless

When i started watching RU-vid I had no makeup either and knew nothing but now I own a little makeup and in my own opinion I am good at it. My sister and friends always ask me to do there makeup for events. Just keep watching tutorials and other videos you will learn a lot!!!!

Does anyone else get SUPER stressed and have anxiety while watching videos like these? Like, I don't allow myself to get more than 4 or 5 of each cosmetic because if I do, I get so stressed thinking about being wasteful and not being able to use up the product in time. I get she's a collector of makeup, and I'm sure my ever-growing collection of 1970s comic books would stress some out as well, so I'm not hating at all! I love Shan, and I hate that I even have to defend myself before there is an attack, but here I am. All I can say is wow. I have never witnessed a collection as large as yours. Kudos!

Why on earth do people dislike this video or say nasty comments. It says in the title what it's going to be so don't watch it if you think you won't like it. (hannahjohns1) things will eventually expire and the right thing to do would be to throw them out for hygienic/safety purposes (unless you are just going to keep them for collectors sake), so yes a lot of that makeup will definitely go unused. Not judging though!! I completely relate to her love for collecting makeup! I try so hard to use things up before buying anything new but its SO hard to resist new collections and anything LE

Wonderful to hear you donate to Women's refuges. I work with women who are escaping DV and often have nothing. They have to restart their lives and makeup is a luxury item for most of them. I don't think you owe your make-up to anyone.. Of course you can't use it all, but you worked really hard to get to where you are and you've earned your support from companies, etc. It's lovely that you do donate items or give some away to friends, but I don't like reading these comments telling you that you're greedy/selfish regardless. It would be crazy if you paid for all of those things, but obviously you're sent loads of items daily I'm sure! Also, your storage is amazing and I'm envious! I don't have quite as much as you of course but I think everyone can be inspired by how organized everything is! I love all of the little slots to hold each product! Loved these videos.

Shannon! I was wondering if you could search for "alhaalfa" on instagram then recreate his client's bridal make up looks.
