Shabba Ranks is the BEST thing to happen to DANCEHALL MUSIC. No one beats Shabba in talent and skill. You can never predict his next stanza. Shabba is the most talented Jamaican Dancehall artist I ever listened to. Respek SHABBA RANKS.
19th Feb 2021 today we lost an elder Icon legend father Daddy U Roy R.I.P. This song will never get old an this is why Shabba will always be respected cause he respected the foundation roots of the music which many nowadays artists just don't even care about let alone respect.
Now ah days artiste are ah Bunch of assholes because u much respect your old school artiste, thats why there quality of music is not lasting long compared to shabba ranks, supercat and others whose music last a life time
Iv been playing this song on repeat all day today.... massive tune. Heavy BASE windows down.... that's how we do it in the Caribbean 🇱🇨 🇱🇨 🇱🇨... 1980"* baby!!!
Gotta respect Shabba. He was and is the best. Shabba, Courtney Melody, Yellowman, Gregory Issacs, Tiger, Tenor Saw, Admiral Bailey, Barrington Levy, Pinchers and Cutty Ranks were the biggest stars back in the day. Shabba is in the same class as #Legend Bob Marley. He commercialized dance hall. He will always be loved in the Bahamas 🇧🇸.
@@magenterprise6340 what is TF's #1 album? Yaga Yaga. I still listen to it, now name Shaba's #1 albums. I can name almost 20 without even doing a Google search. Best baby grandfather, roots & culture, rappin with the ladies, golden touch, ..... I'm lying I do need to Google them, but my point is Shaba's catalog would put Terror to shame.
Manners and respect will carry you a long way in life. I personally think this tune is the reason why Shabba is as relevant now as he was then. He may not be on the front page, but he is still an A list artist.

After all these years you filled in the missing link to what he said for me! Thank you!!! My best friend thought he said "...we no dribble over no soda, we no powda" 😂. I knew it wasn't that but I just couldn't figure out he was saying "...we no soothe..." I gotta share this with him now 👍
I was in attendance when Shabba performed this at Showtime at the Apollo. Most of the people couldnt understand word and still had the entire movin to the beat.
Dear Shanna Ranks: You are the GREATEST reggae artist that ever WAS, IS AND WILL BE. I grew up on St. Thomas Virgin Islands & your cd’s were bought & sold out consistently! Your music was thumping thru the hills of Of the Virgin Islands. Thank you for everything you’ve done for DanceHall & setting the foundation for these youths! They’ll never know how hard it was for you guys with no social media and advanced computer technology today. If there is a HALL OF FAME for reggae music, I’d like to cast my vote for You as the BEST to ever do it. We Love & appreciate you to the max brotha. God Bless you & ur family. One Love 🙏🏽
