I'm a white boy living and working in Tennessee, you go to Micro brew bars on the weekends.. it's exactly like this. everyone get so fired up over this song, it's absolutely beautiful to watch in real life when everyone gathers and sings together. I'm not even from this state, I'm originally from California and it's so gawd Dang beautiful here in Tennessee right now in the spring time.
Country and rap are very similar just expressed in different ways and different words. Most older country songs were great story songs..No matter the troubles we all can relate
I don’t even know music as mush as you guys, and I know @shaboozy some years ago. Damn! The world is definitely missing out on his country style. And yes, he was country b4 beyounce thought of being country.
As a white man, I can safely say I want more black people as country singers. You all may be on to something. Creativity, something I feel us white people have been lacking lately.
I said he literally showed everyone how his family hears country and god it sounds amazing. I love how he made a country song but his own way never copied anyone
Certified banger and I'm a country girl from Ohio this will be a forever bar anthem. I really feel like more African-American men need to really try the country singing their voices are made for storytelling and the instrumentals it's a perfect combination. All music is for everybody there should be no labels on country being for white people or rap for black people it's BS. Do you and make music for the people!
Yo did you know what he meant by me and jack Daniel's gotta history meant it hits even harder nearest greene a black man who created the jack Daniel's recipe ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Go ahead and lie. We all know country was INFLUENCED by black Americans. But then black Americans abandoned the genre (for the most part) and made fun of white ppl for making and enjoying it. Now that Beyoncé made a trash song and album, the black ppl that abandoned the genre and ridiculed it wanna act like they’ve made country into what it is today. And if u think country is "white ppl music", then explain Freddy Fender, Ray Charles, Charlie Pride, Darius Rucker, Neal McCoy, Tomi Fujiyama, Jimmie Tokita, Masateru Nagatani (Charlie Nagatani) and many more.
yo if you guys r tryna do more country hip hop type stuff then listen to willie jones he's one of my favs rn. especially down by the riverside or bachelorettes on broadway
"Let me give him a fresh start though, let's get it" You said that line quickly, and moved on, but it stuck with me. That's an awesome line, and if we could use it more it would help with a lot of things. Shaboozey is my current jam. Noah Kahan was my jam before him. Fresh starts are important.
I have not been a fan of country music since after the 90s, I think it got way too poppy. This is a nice track, though I'd put it more into a Mumford and Sons folk category than country. But happy to see the crossover regardless
Sorry guys but country has always had soul. You just had to listen. Y’all have to remember there’s a lot of real black country folk out here in Texas but Beyoncé was never that. This young man is legit.
Country music and hiphop have a lot of similarities. Just slow down your cadence and add a little twang to your voice and you there. Also as far as the instrumental the bpm on your song is slower for the most part, less bass, and more guitar and you got a country songs. Hell you tweak the lyrics a smidge and whole songs translate quite well if you were to AI them to be country songs
