A young woman wakes to find herself chained to the bed of an abandoned pickup truck alone in the vastness of the California desert with no memory of the events that brought her to such a state.
She’s been left with only a half-empty bottle of gin, a CB radio and a gun with two bullets. Her captor’s identity, motive, and plans for her are a mystery-one she’ll need every ounce of her fading strength and every fibre of her fraying sanity to solve.
