E K Dhilip Kumar ,sir as you said I was examining different horoscopes and I got a doubt,person is cancer ascendant with Moon and Mars with ascendant and Mars is second powerful planet according to the shadbala and with it's friend moon ,but the question arises that is the Mars on cancer is debilitated,and on shadbala it is exalted, whether it will give good results or bad........... eagerly waiting for your reply
Thanks for the excellent educative video as usual. I have one problem in Jagannath Hora s/w. The dasa bukthi is completely different from other softwares. It is not tallying with the original horoscope also. Why or what setting to be done to get the correct dasa bukthi?
Zet too is useful. It produces divisional charts. One can choose North Indian or Western styles, no South Indian. Nakshatras, decans and terms also available.

I am searching resource/book which can guide on practical usage of the shadbala and bhavbala to predict. Mere looking at over all numerical strength isn't sufficient. I have found that a planet is strong in the shadbala but in lagna, the planet is badly afflicted. And practical experience tell that, the planet does not perform. Evaluation of each varga points and finding the strength is important but, no book and resource talks about it. Can you guide and suggest book/resource which talks about the predictive application of it? Regards.

Can we go by the Ishta phala/Kashta phala for this? as in a planet with a strong shadbala and also higher Ishta phala than kashta phala will indeed be auspicious - can this be said?
Ramesh C please tell me if Gandhiji is a good person or not? Write out the questions and answers. Same way there are no single question for determining the nature of a planet. The majority wins.

Nice information, much like all your videos sir. My question is, how much can we really trust comperized calculations? I have seen my shadbala scores different on different softwares... But more interestly, I have had astrologers tell me that according to their calculations, a certain planet is highest shadbala - but yet it's a planet that software I check shows it is very weak in shadbala. But yet I understand the astrologers point of view.. example: mercury debilitated in 10th house, only conjunct venus, and mercury is also retrograde. No malefic aspect these two , and mercury is also in a positive(libra) navamsa. An astrologer told me it is my 2nd strongest planet. But yet software shows it's shadbala as 6th strongest(weak). ? What should I trust? Using my intuition, mercury appears strong...but I am still a learner.

Is there is any website/softwares to calculate & analyse about Shadbala's in our own chart by ourself same like generating computer rasi & navamsa chart? Because It'll be better to know about strong/weak planets in our horoscope comparing with rasi chart may be which will be contrary as you said.

on my computer horoscope shadbala chart under total shadbala Sun shows 611.53 points which is the highest number compared to all other total shadbala points. second is Mercury 555.75 points. in my lagna chart sun is in 11th house with ketu and Mercury in 12th house in its own sign with saturn.. (after following your videos I dont think these are very good combinations as the bad planets are in both 11th and 12th houses) I am a cancer ascendant with Mars in my 1st house. what does this mean in terms of me in general.

Sir, which is to be given more importance? Shadbala or Ashtaka Varga? There are some planets which has low Astaka varga points but Shadbala has higher than 100% (Jagannatha Hora)
Ashtakavarga goes hand in hand with Transit related formulae. Shadbala is about the strength of graham vis a vis the dash and antardasha. It is very complex. These are the times when we feel that Astrology is an ART and NOT a SCIENCE.

Ramesh C Shadbala is supreme. Especially when we note that a planet is debilitated and we need to know if it is also very weak as per Shadbala. .If yes, it is really weak. Sometimes exalted planet may be weak in shadbala. That is the surprise.

Sir, I have a doubt. While reading the Lagna chart and the divisional chart together, should we compare and see how the zodiac signs have changed houses. Suppose a sign that is in 8th house in the Lagna chart is present in the 10th house in Dasamsa, Can this show a career related to 8th house ?
Depends on if its functional benefic or malefic according to your lagna.Natural benefics like Jupiter and venus can be functional malefics for different lagnas

is Ashtavarga and Sadhbala the same? In my horoscope, the jupiter is in 3rd place and neecha. But in Ashta varga the count shows 56 bindhus. So, how is it calculated?
There are two different matters. Totally no connection. Ashtakavarga is a horoscope with numbers instead of planets in them. Keep watching my videos and you will know.
