I learned to play guitar in high school. This was my Grandma's favorite song that I played. Even though she is no longer with us, every time I hear it, I remember her joyful smile and how proud she was of me. Shaded Red will always be one of my favorite bands of all time.
- I absolutely love this song, and it makes my heart burst with love whenever I hear it - I was lucky enough to be a part of their time in existence ( shaded red ) and provide production for them back in 1999. wonderful group of guys. Obtaining any touring support from a label back then was darn near impossible for Christan bands, and these guys were an unfortunate casualty.
Greetings! I was fortunate enough to see them several times in the late 90's in Washington state. They were and are a source of inspiration for me and those who were with me. I'd much prefer a Shaded Red reunion than Led Zeppelin! Is there any information about the band?:) cheers brother!
I remember seeing these guys play this at a church when I was younger and I remember the lead singer telling a story about just losing his father, I was probably 14 years old. now I'm 29 and I just lost my father in December, so this song means so much to me even more now.
I was at KingdomBound 98 or 99 and was so pumped to see Shaded Red. They got on stage and it poured down rain. I never got to hear them, such a bummer.
brings tears to my eyes every time, knowing that no matter how many times i fail, he still loves me despite of the things i've done to hurt him... ..HE>i
@sloppyjoes7 I remember them posting about free distribution of their music on their website after they lost their label. I was doing so for a while. I was hoping that they would eventually get back together. Shaded Red was one of the best bands of the 90s. I don't think they made a song I didn't like.
@Clone0785 The label disappeared, and the band broke up. I managed to buy both albums and ripped super-high-quality MP3s, and I think, FLAC audio. (FLAC is perfect and lossless). The band authorized distribution of their music prior to their breakup, in one of their newsletters, due to the rarity of their CDs. I think that offer is still valid. I've considered putting my files on the internet, but I'm hesitant due to potential copyright issues. The band did ask the fansite to shut down...
