SHADOW | Experimental Short Film

The shadow is an aspect of the unconscious in which unwanted thoughts, feelings, urges, and emotions are repressed. It is a nearly forgotten reservoir of our darkest and most horrifying qualities, but also the most creative. Countless individuals don't realise that they have a 'shadow' or purposefully try to ignore it. Unwanted qualities do not simply disappear but remain in the darkness of our psyche and build up tension until it bursts.
The experimental short film SHADOW attempts to illustrate the importance of acknowledging one's shadow. Only when both the conscious and the unconscious are recognised, does one truly know themselves.
