Okay but can we just take a moment to appreciate how ahead of its time this game was? It put up an ACTUAL storyline. All the tracks are so well planned,It's amazing how all of us can imagine scenarios and characters in our head just by listening to the music. The musical creativity of this game is so underrated. Y'all can say that other games had better graphics and all but this was simply the best game of its generation.

Hermit is that one opponent you fight and have deep respect for when you defeat him in the most intense combat of your life. Respects to Hermit, our Sensei that thought us to dodge attacks like absolute bosses.

Hermit is my real SENSEI. He told me I lack focus, I mastered focusing. He said you lack dodging, I mastered dodging. He taught me don't let enemy attack you constantly , show your aggression; I mastered that. He taught me master in just one weapon , Don't be like jack of all and master of none; I chose nanchaku. He told me always take big challenges; I beated every boss including him 3-0 in eclipse mode for the seal , also completed all tournaments and challenges in eclipse mode with impossible difficulty. It's my honor being a student of hermit. Respect

Im surprised that Hermit is known as a "Demon". He's actually a really nice dude. Teaching his students Magic. Teaching us how to predict lightning strikes, telling us to give him our best when we fight him. He even tells us to stop Butcher when we defeat him.

Butcher taught me versatility. Flying movements are not just a show off. The Pirate Queen taught me timing is key. Do not overextend your commitment. Balance of defense and attack. Widow was just a test. Nothing special. Shogun taught us an exclusive to him dodge pattern to expect the unexpected. Shadow Gate taught me condition. Always try and make the best of your performance, get the least damage taken even in winning, that is the true mastery. Titan was the exam. (final boss)

By far my favorite track, the mix between chill instruments like the violin and the aggressive instruments like the electric guitar and drums makes a perfect beautiful balance! 💖

Mad respect for this dude.. he taught me how to counter and be reeaaaallly aggressive. After i finally won i was beating the crap out of every enemy and realised that i wasn’t fighting hermit, he was teaching me.

To be honest, I could not have defeated butcher, wasp, widow and shogun without hermit, even if I had got the level. This dude taught me how to dodge hits and prevent the enemy from doing pretty much anything. Because of him I was able to complete survival without defeating all the bodyguards in all the rest of the acts and won many impossible special challenges like Ronin and Rose.
