Love this song. How, no matter how many twists and turns the composition takes, it always seamlessly resolves to that beautiful anthem chorus. Wonderful work.
23 years that Shadow Gallery has stunned me. I still miss Mike Baker. (R.I.P. Brother)....I still have a few e-mails from him. He always had his friends call him Bakes. Anyway, those guys are pure magic and this music never dies! 🎶 🎶 Keep the faith my friend. \m/
First song I ever heard by them. Ordered a copy of "Carved in Stone" right away. Sad to find out Baker is gone. Haven't listened in so long, time to get that CD out again.
SG never lost the music from their production - DT published several albums just for themselves, playing hard, fast and professionally... without music.
I don't think either band should be compared. They're both great in their own right. Anyway I happen to know Gary Wehrkamp is still a DT fan so I'd call him the ultimate authority. Remember when James Labrie did guest vocals in "I Believe"?
never understood how it has been possible that shadow gallery never made a break out .... and dream theater leterally boooom!!! It's insane SG sounds much more melodic , more accessible less self-contemplative and so less boring than DT
