It is one of the top albums in the history of mankind, in my eyes. Such a coherent musical masterpiece, a transcendent expression of prog metal and metal in general, and of course to top it off exemplary lyrics telling a captivating story delivering a profound message. Cream of the crop!

I remember hearing this for the first time back in 99. The themes in this album are surprisingly just as applicable today, if not moreso.

"Tyranny" is in all honesty, a better followup to "Operation:mindcrime" than Mindcrime 2 was.
