This seems to be a similar situation to Gamma in SADX since gamma timer goes down instead of up and will go up doing combo's.

What? You mean they should have a manual timer standing by or something?

Well since CC is only 5 seconds, you could do the monotonous task of adding on 5 seconds for every time you use CC

@@ALMOSTNKKD Well for console you could do that, but for pc you could also create a timer that is in-game so you wouldn’t need to count for CC. Also CC seems to stack up so you would need to account for that.

Unless there's some absolutely busted glitch with Chaos Control (and even then only if it's smth that couldn't be banned from leaderboards), most likely is that IL runs will just go by the IGT, Chaos Control and all while full game runs operate via real time metrics.

not an ideal fix but you can just turn off voices in the options (but not dialogue)
