Just an idea that popped into my head late tonight I thought I'd show ya! I think there are a lot of possibilities for what could be done with this method. :-)
yep you can tell its changes at 40 seconds when he zooms into the shadow, on the top upper right there is a very small patch of stone showing. When he says sneak away you can see the color of the wall change, thus.. fake!
@noonco Maybe. But then that would be a different method. I think zooming in gave it away. Great stuff though. I would enjoy the live method much more.
Why do all the little kids always automatically assume editing software? They have no imagination and they're too immature to think of any other way! Aw! The poor little babies are always wrong! LMAO!
A little bit of basic video editing has people fooled. There is only him, the screen a static camera and video editing. He's used split screen editing with the footage as you can see his fingers jolt near the right edge of the screen. He cleverly uses zooming to draw focus and attention away from his editing. Had it been edited better, a lot of people would be none the wiser. He shot 2 scenes and pieced them together in a fashion that would fool people. Not me or you tho,
0:39 Look at his RIGHT HAND on the edge of Frame. It fades out and snaps to the post-keyed footage. This is a really lazy "trick". Simple after effects. This trick can not be done live. (Another error is at 0:50 while the shadow moves backwards, the bottom edge of the sheet has a white line at the edge of the After Effects garbage-mat. Compare it to the opening of the video where there is shadow to the edge.)
