anime would be a good idea if we knew they would flash out all the characters, but if it happens it's just going to be lux, jinx, ahri, mf, kai'sa and akali. the others we'll be background characters, so no thank you
At 1:59 keep an eye on Kai sa's wrist. Her friendship bracelet dissolves, maybe symbolizing how her giving it up in the music video affected her and Akali's friendship or how Kai 'sa giving it up kept Akali from overcoming her fears and doubts.
Since this is all from Akali's point of view, it may symbolize that Akali thinks Kai'Sa is giving up on their friendship. Also Akali being filled away from Kai'Sa by her fears symbolizes that Akali's fears are damaging their relationship

2:00 This is made worse with Kaisa's bracelet disappearing while reaching for Akali, especially after the music video a couple weeks ago. It's like Akali feels like she's losing her best friend who's more focused on Star Guardian stuff and ignoring her even though Akali just wants things to be the same as they always were
I feel for Akali. This cinematic gets to me because I been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks at night. When you suffer anxiety, you are your own worst enemy. Just like the Akali Phantom is the doubt in her. I hope both she and I can pull through this. That we can once again go into those happy days in the fields with the people we love.
I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks as well . I’ve been dealing with these (and some other) things for almost 4 years, alone. I just wanted to say that you’re more powerful than you think you are. You can beat these awful things. Sometimes you’re too tired to win those fights, but that’s okay. I know it’s painful and a lot of people don’t understand you, but this doesn’t mean you can’t do it. Force yourself to believe in you, and after some time, you will actually believe in yourself, I hope you can stay strong!

Is a struggle but I will not give up. Sorry to hear that you suffer from anxiety and panic attacks as well, I hope you too can get some power from my reply. Know that we control the energy we give, and we control our thoughts. I think anxiety tends to get worse during the night, I pray so that you can have good rest.
It's fun to notice how Kaisa and Morgana share some details, like some twisted mirror. the hairstyle, the wings and their familiars kinda look the same (Ina with the cape closed, Morgana's with the cape open as bat wings) Idk if it was planned or I'm just connecting dots that don't exist
You might be on to something, actually. Because this entire time I’ve been wondering why Kai’Sa’s Star Guardian design has her hair shaped like horns. Perhaps it really is to create a visual connection between her and Morgana.
The weirdest part is that at 0:44 theres a sg crest that looks eerily similar to kaisa’s. Im not entirely sure what that means, but it has to mean something
@@caincorn Has sense with Kayle being starguardian. Angel wings are common in Maho shoujo as *final power up* for the girls. She's all about justice, so that's checks out with Star Guardian's whole theme. And the rivalry with Morgana.
It is interesting knowing Star Nemesis Morgana is one of Morgana variant who is actually evil instead of having some anti-hero(ine) quality of her sacred version, truly a multiverse of madness
Little detail you may have missed: At 2:01 Kai'Sa friendship bracelet disappears. This likely signals how Akali and Kai'Sa's relationship is dwindling. It could also be referencing when Kai'Sa got her SG powers in the "Everything Goes On" music video (where she gives up her friendship bracelet to take the oath).
WAITTTTT NO WAY, this 3d animation is SO good, and this expands on the lore so much. the way akali was dreaming it all paints it as this silent internal battle. i love everything about this
The moment the reality broke for her mind and she started falling in shatters, we can see it was the moment kaisa made the deal with Lux and broke the window akali looks through. just like we see kaisa trying to reach to the skies in previous animation and now it showed that she was reaching akali Wonderfully made!
The fight looks very dynamic, just like akali's main style in the game. But for me the best part is that little frame at 2:24. That my friends, is pure gold of storytelling!
I really enjoyed this RITO. The way Akali is constantly battling her thoughts of good and evil add a lot of complexity to her character. Amazing animation and music. Thank you again for a wonderful video. ❤
A little fun fact: the voices you hear from the beginning are actually from Akali's mom in this Star Gaurdian universe. Here her mom is abusive to her, always calling her weak and useless. "After settling the dog in one of the plush shelter beds, Kai’Sa walked Akali straight home. The journey was surprisingly pleasant, despite Akali knowing what awaited her at home. She marveled at how easy it was to talk to Kai’Sa. They made plans to grab ramen tomorrow after school, and that alone was enough to drown out the lecture that began as soon as she shut her front door. However, her mother’s admonishments of “useless” and “delinquent” failed to hit their mark for once, banished by the word “friend” blazing in Akali’s heart like a newborn star."
I quite like the different art style and I have to say, Morgana with those thinner lips looks great! Just that small choice makes her feel so much like an old-school mahou shoujo villain!
This animation looks so cool! The visuals, the voices and the background music just fit so well together. I really like this so far! This is just my own opinion though, so I respect yours too.

FLAWLESS The Star Guardian event might be disappointing ingame, but in terms of lore, animation, visuals... It's sooooo good! This animation was so strong, really showcased how Akali is struggling with loneliness and the burden of being a Star Guardian.
@@khalkotauroio2417 What could you be hinting at? You mean to say you aren't satisfied with everyone's favorite featured mode, summoner spellbook? Surely you can't be implying that riot should consider player satisfaction rather than ease of production and monetization!
This is a good animation and it really makes me wish there was an anime or some type of cartoon for the Star guardians especially for newcomers like myself since I am interested in this universe.
This is a really good example of (a type of) social anxiety, from the way one negative thought leads to another as they spiral out of control, to fighting against yourself and resisting the pull of negative thoughts and emotions trying to drag you down into a place of darkness. Really fills out SG Akali's character between the Twin Stars story and the event story from Kai'sa's POV.
@@Star_Fyre they can pay another company to do SG anime so it wont take time in production of arcane cause after season 2, I really want it to progreas to other regio/story like the Noxian Invasion.

I hope she doesn't actually fall. Rides the line but is saved before it happens. Falling and coming back again is the Xayah+Rakan story (and potentially hinted at with Senna and Lucian in their comic). Would be a shame to have that be played out again making each of them less 'special'.
I main akali for a long time, and personally I felt her, being so insecure around others, thinking that no one likes you and no one wants to be your friend. I saw myself in that. I am feeling like that these days. At least I have Akali! 😊 Thank you so much Riot for this cinematic!

Excellent. Very well written, paying attention to the dual-nature of Good v Evil, Light v Shadow, etc. Can even equate it to alternate universes. As an avid anime fan for 40 years, whoever is writing the Star Guardian story has my respect and admiration.
I just realized, with the ongoing lore in the client, the whole "star guardian" thing is getting closer and closer to becoming madoka magica. I mean, there are witches (the fallen guardians) and you are doomed to battle them for eternity or become one of them. There is no other way out once you've taken the oath.
I think the new Star Guardians and their lore will theme around redemption and struggling with past doubts? That being a Star Guardian isn't as noble of a calling as maybe Ahri or Lux (and their respective teams) make it out to be
Also the balance between the darkness inside them threatening to corrupt them (doubt, pain, loss etc) vs. the light they cultivate (friendships, love, etc.) It's very basic and classic magical girl material but still very good
@@Takapon218 i think its a successful trope because it always happens again and again in generations of lives especially during your teenage and adult years, same with love, its always cringey but its always gonna be relevant to someone in their life
Riot is really nailing it with the story, themes and small cinematics for this event. I hope they capstone it with something big at the end like a OST or long form video.

0:48 idk if anyone here knows Gravity Falls, but Evilkali's laugh just sounds like Bill's laugh to me, but female version. And I must say i really love this style of animation ♥️ music and the voices are beautiful. It's just perfect
