Ben's highs have been getting better and better and no one talks about it, I can't wait for the studio version, this might be some of their absolute best work, I need it now.
I would guess they release this song soon and once they finish this tour they shoot a music video or two and drop the album. Probably gonna be awhile unfortunately
Went to both Ireland shows whilst I was on holiday and man this song is great. Was hoping to hear The Migrant but hearing a new unreleased one instead was a treat.
@@darkseidiss3npai251I mean it's not same sacred thing, agreed. I just haven't seen anyone else do it live personally, so it's the first example that came to mind.
Yeah, I wonder back in the day he had a little weight on em, then he got hella skinny now he put it back on hope he is all good sometimes that can be a sign of stress, but also sometimes people really fluctuate a lot like that, but this has been over time so it doesn’t seem super fast and drastic back and forth. Luckily metal isn’t a fashion show.
Have you not heard Melancholy and Elegy? Those are SOI’s strongest albums and they don’t have any breakdowns in the same style as this one. Primordial and Reclaimer are weak albums, imo, but to be fair I’m not a deathcore guy, I’m a Death/Thrash guy and Melancholy and Elegy scratch an itch for me that the other albums don’t
@@darkseidiss3npai251 Agreed that Melancholy is their strongest album. Primordial isn't for me and Reclaimer has some true gems but overall too core-y for me as well. Elegy was a bit too simplistic for me. Anyway, Dirge of the Void literally has this exact same breakdown style as its intro
I’m talking about the final breakdown in this new song. The other breakdown moments sound good and have a nice groove to them, but the ending one feels out of place and too abrupt imo. I’ll save my final judgements for the studio version but at least from what I’m hearing now it kinda has me worried
