"I writhe in pleasure as the buzzards circle. The experience of hell, death and misery" Slaughter to Prevail - As The Vultures Circle Slaughter to Prevail - Hell Slaughter to Prevail - Death Slaughter to Prevail - Misery. Did Alex just name off 4 of his band's songs in 2 sentences in ANOTHER band's lyrics? Wow..lyrical fucking genius.
If I'm not mistaken Ben actually wrote that for Alex to sing because he thought it was lyrically sick as shit and had mass amounts of fuckin respect for that man.
I have to say this. Every time I hear it Ben and Alex it gives me chills. Chris is unbelievably skilled, Ben and Alex are fucking beasts. Anything with those two just take my money.
“I can’t remember my name or my face, engorging on the masses and I fucking love the taste. I’ve never craved of mutilation in my wildest dreams, but I just can’t escape the elation of their dying screams.” Holy fucking hell, my favorite lines in this song. So damn powerful and meaningful. Really puts into perspective how virulent, hungry, primordial the flood really is.
The low frequencies are a lot more boosted on this mix than the mix on Spotify. Especially on the bass and kick drum. The vocals also have a large amount of stereo widening on them and the levels are considerably higher. More like the vocals are on top of everything versus being seated in with the instruments. I like to think of this mix as being inside a bubble with the music where as the Spotify mix is coming at you. The Spotify mix is cleaner in terms of everything being a bit more distinguishable and glued together, but I honestly dig the vibe of the low end in this mix....The bass level in the Spotify mix is minimal compared to this.
I wasn't a big of these types on vocals, but after hearing "The Indexing" a year ago I fell in love with his voice. I listen to his music almost 2 hours a day, or whenever I game I have his entire album play on repeat. I don't know why but it's so god damn perfect.
You ever get that feeling where you’re ears start bleeding (its good blood though) and your like “after this track im gonna give the ears a break”. ...but then the next track starts.....
Song is killer, shit I love some raw song demos over mixed tracks sometimes so this mix sounds amazing to me Forget the mix for a sec.. Everything is filthy fucking good
Anyone else notice that the beginning of the track has the same rhythm as one of the songs on primordial? They also added another rhythm from primordial in one of the solos.
I love these types of mixes! The guitars always standing out in almost all the metal I hear became a bit overatted to me. It's always the best when nothing is drowning out the others.
Loving this track so much! even if the quality isn't goof its a great fucking song man. like the rhythm and drums and guitar sound so fucking good on here. Just fucking epic.
Vincent Godinez The album Primordium is based off of the Forerunner series of Halo books. There's literally a song called the Didact's Will about the Prometheans.
Dude, Shadow of Intent Slaughter to Prevail and Winds of Plague need to do a tour together and have a huge super band style song together, or not because I believe that's how you summon Satan himself or scare the shit out of him.
