Fun Fact: In some canons. Sonic actually does have a pet dog named Muttski. Though in one of them Muttski gets Chaos Control reconned into being like Sonic and Sonic is Bitter sweet about it due to how happy he is to be able to talk to his dog and trying new things with him. But it also meams his dog forgot everything they ever went through.

If Alfred purposefully expanded the lore of the fandub Eggman with this, this is what I call a really good move.
