unfortunately when i was trying this strategy i found out i have attachment issues and whenever one of my grunts died i felt the need to avenge my fallen comrade making very stupid mistakes and ultimately perishing
I once was playing solo and killed a guy. Knew he had a friend so I dropped a poison bomb on the body. Apparently he was either a shitty friend or just bad at the game, because he necro'd him 3 times in the poison cloud and perma killed him 🤣
Did that when the event started. Found the boss with my trio, banished, pushed 3 meatheads inside with the friend with instinct. That friend waited outside, we poison trapped every door and window, and just waited inside. I wish I clipped this, a 6 star guy with bomb lance who played with his 4 and 3 star friends thought he could sneak us and melee us, got himself poisoned inside and last thing he saw was 3 meatheads running on him.
This makes me wish for some sort of a Pheromone grenade/Crossbow bolt. Just something that attracts enemies to a location, or focus aggro on an hunter if hit.
On the developer survey I said that I felt shadow was the strongest perk and was slept on by the community. It changes how you can read a scenario greatly

To be a real necormancer you only need to use a shovel as a weapon, and have the trait that heals you if you kill a grunt Or even better, a bone doctor with necromancer and 2 teammates with the zombie skin 😆 Man this looks way too fun !
Can you fucking imagine if the devs brought in an actual necromancer trait that would summon a few ai? Holy shit that would be wild for an event or something.
@tulipalll 1 grunt for 1 player killed. And they go to location you ping. Just imagine the potential to bait people from covers, and do some sneaky lurks. Or throw sticky on grunt and send them to enemy cover XD. So much potential
Oh well unfortunately I haven't tried that only since yesterday when there's like 3 days of the event left x_x Otherwise I was always using "Primal" but I agree it's kind of useless to have more than 1 person running "Instinct" as otherwise if I'm solo it's still probably the best and first thing to get. The "Trait Lvl 2" of the Shadow pact can be really useful though.
And fools still don't learn to NOT res spam, like how hard is it to understand?? Like you need to lay cover fire, throws or block shot with body. Super low skill play.
